The largest “aboriginal nation” in North America is Cree, they stretch from Alaska south and east all across North America, most “tribes” are directly descended from or related to Cree, with the exception of the Innu. (feel free to look it up).
Up until the early 20th century, “native” men in damn near every region of this hemisphere would marry, adopt, or in some manner incorporate women who lost their means of support and protection into their own families. Assuming FULL responsibilities for them in return for them performing functions of mother. wife. or sister. The only women who weren’t we’re the ones who were “outcast” by the tribe. meaning the whole f~~~ing tribe, not just the men. This by the way, is a practice carried over from per-historic times during the evolution and migration of human kind.

My Grandfather (who died in 1966 at 100 yrs old) had 3 mothers in his life, my grandmother was his 2nd wife whom he married when he was 60. My great grandfather had 7 mothers and 3 wives. So f~~~ you and your BS about “natives” burning widows.
