    Keep going…

I'd rather die a natual death with a clear MGTOW conscience somewhere off the grid than one within "modern" civilisation with a big stress mark on my forehead and a couple of dozen tubes plugged into my body. Back to the plantation..? Me..? Hey, literally: I won't ever fucking kid myself...YZERLMNTSIC

i was thinking maybe California would be a good start for a gothic store since califorina is more subculture friendly. i live in the suburbs near chicago but there seems to be no stores in the city that i know of.

Living in Il is bad enough, especially in the burbs—I grew up near Lombard. California is a poor choice due to the tax structure. Business’s are leaving the People’s Republic of California in droves.

Look I’m a small businessman myself. I have ask do you have a business plan developed? To wit:
What exactly do you want to sell?
Can you sell with sufficient margin to make a profit?
Is there a market for what you are selling? How big? and in what volume? Remember you need either repeat customers or new customers.
Do you want your business online—or brick and mortar?
How will customers pay? What sort of local business taxes will be involved?
And then there is insurance etc.

I’m not trying to talk you out of it, rather just get you thinking about everything involved.

Well John, Stealthy already gave you a good basic advice: to gain some (self) respect and that not only goes for the world of business but in here as well.

Or would you in real life just stomp into the New York stock exchange and just go: “Hello gentlemen, my name is John and I want to make big money in here. Can you help me..?” Just imagine the reaction of all the people there for a moment.

It’s more or less the same situation for you in here, so I already gave you as much advice as I could give you at this point.
And now it’s simply your turn to heed it.

    That’s all.

(Since drcraemer did it then why shouldn’t you..?)

Well, since you seem to understand its meaning, John I would suggest that you get over it and that is my final advice.

Oh, and in time I trust you might well understand that, too …

Start online, sites like etsy will be a good place to start.

Or build a website and sell straight from there.

I would advise against opeining a physical store.

    If this will be a underpants store then follow this strategy;

    1. Collect underpants
    2. ?
    3. Profit

    >_>

I thought what I'd do was I'd pretend I was one of those deaf-mutes...or should I?

A more appropriate question is why those who know they are not welcome or invited sign up and try to join / post anyway. Now thats’ “annoying”. We have seen enough of it, and our senses have become very acute.

You have to admit, it’s highly unusual for a man to walk into a room and say “Hello Men!”. Wouldn’t you say?

We did. Every new participant should receive a welcome email. Sometimes I send them out personally. Every morning.

    On starting a business…..

You get (and register) a legitimate business name. LLC or corp. It costs about $800 per year at the minimum, and about the same for a set up fee. Then you set up “business” accounts at the bank and make yourself an “employee” of your own business.

You don’t even need to sell anything (like products), instead of being an “employee” …. some companies (prefer to) hire contractors. So your paychecks then go to “the business” and you invoice them for your time. Your laptop, health insurance and various other expenses can then be written off. etc….

These are just the broad strokes, but whether you open a physical, or virtual “storefront” or not, starting a business is a good idea.

If you keep doing what you've always done... you're gonna keep getting what you always got.

You’re an othodox Christian interested in demonology???

The da vinci code taught me the chalice is the ancient symbol for a female.

You want to start a goth clothing store in a state you don’t live in.

These don’t add up to my autistic brain.

Why not start with an introduction?
