I get the sense that soulman has retired in name only. His humorous nature will be sorely missed if I m wrong. I have not been here that long and still this guy made a lasting impression on me. Where you are and what you call yourself now don’t matter. May all your flatulence be tolerable at least to yourself. May you find contentment in the music you create and the roads you travel.

Soulman was very looking out for our best interests when we had some visitors who crashed the party and for caring enough to report it unbecoming behavior, but then I saw too much of it myself, I had to say something. I will never forget soulman’s VERY passionate and colorful into and he had been through some serious s~~~ , and I greeted him accordingly. So I expected the same from everyone.

Then I noticed he changed his signature and avatar, and that’s when I knew he was making a classy exit to step out the back with no direct confrontation — which I would have preferred if it would have stopped him from leaving. Even his note to us last night was very pleasant and let us know he wanted to be deleted – along with all of his posts. I am hoping he will reply in some way.

For the first time in 2.5 years, I phoned in sick and took the day off work today because I’m really upset about this. It’s twice as hard because he just wrote to us last week saying how much he likes it here. I didn’t know I would become so attached to people I’ve never met.

BVC started this (unprompted) as a way of calling out to him , and I sent Soulman a message about it.
Wherever he is, he should know. But As long as he’s going his own way, we kinda have to let him go.

I know that the decision is his and regardless of what he decides in the end I respect that, but I am sure that there are considerably more people on these forums that appreciate everything Soulman did here than have mentioned it, I know I did. KeyMaster you have mentioned several times how you became attached to him even though you had never met and I can do nothing but echo those sentiments. I kind of felt like he was an older brother who always had wisdom to impart and I really do hope he finds whatever he feels he is looking for.

I feel like Elwood without Jake! Soulman’s the s~~~! I’m hoping he returns SOON, and WillyT73, I sure miss him too…. I have a feeling SoulMan won’t just quit, he’s on vacation, this place does push the limits of mental endurance, but not as bad as feminism. S~~~ SoulMan, I almost took some pictures of my AMX just to show you, I like muscle cars too… 190 f~~~ing miles an hour, I felt that in my excitement center, that thing between my ears.

Now I feel a bit guilty since I was one of those who objected to some of those images being shared here and just wanted them edited out but I never meant for anyone to feel hurt in the process. 🙁

I didn’t know Soul Man personally either but I feel a bond with him just as I do with the rest of my MGTOW brothers here. And we really can’t let a silly thing like this create a rift between us. In this age of rampant unrestrained misandry all we got is us and we just gotta have a sense of esprit de corps like soldiers in a battlefield. You watch my back, I watch yours.

One thing Soul Man and I had in common was we are both Led Zeppelin..I hate the term fan so aficionado. So I dedicate this Zeppelin classic to Soul Man hoping for his eventual return.
