The coastal elite hatred for “normal Americans” is, to my eyes, evidence of dependency resentment.

These folks in the big cities of California and the Northeast know in their guts that their exceptional wealth, privilege and comfort are a direct result of and completely dependent upon the struggles and efforts of millions of regular people and they hate those people as a result.

We don’t need guns to send them a message… three days of blue collar work stoppage would grind this nation to a halt and those fine upstanding paragons of virtue will become blood thirsty savages. THEN we can use the guns.

I didn’t really expect much reaction but I sense feelings run pretty deep on this. I guess it’s similar to the UK where London seems like a different country in terms of wealth and influence and the rest of the Island doesn’t count except at election time.

I just found it funny the way all the callers to the live “Phone In” just trolled the guy.

As for me I beleive the 2nd amendment is a sound constitutional stratergy to prevent an unarmed population being enslaved to a military backed Elite.
