Yes, married at the time for 27 years, she wasn’t haaappyy anymore.
She made a simple phone call from her place of work.
A cop cop roared up and removed me from my life while I was cutting the grass.
I was put in a freezing cold prison cell all day long.
I went through a full blown criminal trial that hung over my head for six months.
I was denied contact with my daughter for SIX agonising months after being with her in the home and the best daddy I could be for 18 years. (yes, I was lucky she was older)
Still, the heartbreak of seeing her texts begging me to reply and say if I’m alright.
“Daddy where are you?” “I miss you so much” “Please just sent a reply to say you’re ok”
I was told by the courts and the police if I send even one electronic communication to my own distraught daughter then I’d go to prison until my trial since I would have broken bail conditions.
