Sexually harassed at work by post wall women

I started a new job last week. I won’t go into details about the exact type of work, but it is in a professional office environment.

I am in my mid thirties, well-built and handsome. At work, I am the only man in the office, while I am surrounded by post wall women. They are constantly sexually harassing me and I would love to tell them to leave me alone. They touch my shoulder and arm when talking to me, call me “cutie” and “honey” and say I have a nice butt. On my second day at work, I was alone in the office with one of them and she said that I could stay over at her house when I come into town, as I live about an hour away. The proposal made me feel really uncomfortable.

The problem is that I really need this job. There are no opportunities in my field in my town, so I need this job which is about an hour away. I also can’t tell these women to leave me alone because they will make my life hell if I put up too much of a stink. The owner, who is also a post-waller, doesn’t take part in the harassment, but I doubt she will fire or discipline these women, as she really needs the help with her business.

I don’t know where these women get the idea that their behavior is acceptable. I have given them no indicators of interest that I want any sort of romantic relationship. I have flirted with exactly none of them.

I think I just have to cash as many paychecks as I can from this job and then move on when I find a better opportunity.

I’ve had women of all aged touching me and calling me “honey” and “sweetie” and other words ever since I was 15 years old. Maybe before that and I’ve just forgotten, but I remember around 15/16 girls really began to act funny around me.

Ironically, for me it stopped around my mid-30s.

Just sort of smile and ignore it. If you want them to not touch you just stare at their hand, they will remove it and apologize.

Wait until they start claiming you “have something in your hair” as their excuse to touch your hair. I used to think I always had something and couldn’t understand why it kept happening, until it stopped and I realized it was a lame excuse.

I never tried that on women, but I doubt it would work. Amusingly enough, I had better hair than pretty much any woman I’ve ever met, and occasionally some would complain about that. Women like to think they are more physically attractive, but in nature is is generally the male that has beauty. A male lion has his mane, not the female. The Greeks and most other cultures used to consider the male form beauty, and didn’t have as much adoration for the female form.

In any company large to have one, the HR department is a nothing more that c~~~ fiefdom. My stepdad retired from the military and became a cop in a small town. He quit within a month because of their double standard favoring stupid females (both on the job and the criminals they arrested).

He is now an over the road trucker and keeps trying to convince me to get my CDL (I am very much a loner and he knows this). When I went and visited him and my mother in Arkansas this summer he was gone the whole week until the last day. He was home for all of ONE DAY and could not wait to get back on the road. I feel like the only reason he is still with my mom is for the sake of my half-brother who is almost 18. I fully expect a divorce in the near future. That motherf~~~er loves being on the road solo. I don’t have time to check what others are advising but I’m going to advise you NOT to rock the boat. You just started you haven’t even proven you are critical to the organization. Until you become THEE reason everything is holding together, just be nonchalant and rather aloof and professional. Be the dude that is “dense” and doesn’t get the signals.
