I get a kick every time I see idiots get nailed during those border security tv shows because they have ‘evidence’ on their smart phone that they must give the border authorities access to. Idiots of an exponential kind.

Know when it is your duty to give them zero explanations for your actions.

    24. get a flip cell phone that is not a smart phone where you don’t have to do step 1-23.

Really good advice, you don’t have to protect what you don’t have. Part of going my own way and being minimalist, is that you get rid of a lot of things that you don’t really need.

But I guess they are now monitoring everything I write.

And we hope that at least those cops learn something !

Judge: What you found out about Gargamel ? Do you have any evidence to condemn him ?
Cop: I monitored all his communication and there was some really good red pills there, I won’t arrest him just because he speaks the truth, if you don’t like it, f~~~ you and your c~~~ocracy, I’m going on my own way now.

I use my phone strictly for business. I have absolutely NO passcode on it, nor do I allow it to use my fingerprint for unlocking. You just turn it on, and there it is. I do NOT use it for banking. I do NOT use it to log into important websites. All the photos on it are of products I’m selling. My call history will reveal all my clients #’s that I’ve talked to in the past month, but that’s about it. I also have a few stupid games on it to pass the time, none of which I care about. And for God’s sake, I do NOT use it to look at porn! Why anyone would want to look at porn on a 5″ screen just boggles my mind anyway.

This is the best thing to do IMHO, it’s too much responsibility to put anything important in a device that can be taken away from you so easily.

Sometimes I wonder, if someone already had the idea of taking several dick pics before crossing the border, just to see how disgusted those guys get to see your dick while searching your phone for ‘evidence’.

Try to post that here on the site – someone here has surely done it or knows how.

Thanks, maybe I’ll do it eventually. I am a bit skeptical, though. I have searched the Internet to no avail. Installing Service Disabler might be a solution, but it requires root.

My last cell phone was a flip. Now I have no cell phone, no internet and no computer. Were it not for this work computer, I’d never be on line. Saves me a lot of money not having any of that unnecessary stuff and I don’t have to worry about any security.

With all due respect bro’ if that is a work computer and it belongs to your office IT or such – they WILL have more eyes on you than the NSA.

Plus they log keystrokes and all your passwords are toast.

    Just an observation.

Oh yes, I have no doubt that it is highly monitored, but no trouble has come from it over the last 17 years. Any sites they don’t find acceptable are blocked anyway.
