    Gentlemen,

The days of getting an irreversible vasectomy are over! Men who aren’t interested in having children could soon be shooting blanks with this:

Unless you have decided that you never want children, this is beneficial to some.

At first I thought this was “ok cool” and read it with enthusiasm….. but then I read it takes 6 months after you turn it off to take effect??

Turning it on is instant… but turning it off takes 6 months?
What’s the point??? Totally lost my wood right there.

The point of turning it off is so that when the opportunity presents itself you can decide “NO”.
A week maybe, but 6 months? Useless.

Someone started another thread on this too.

Jeeez 6 months…? That’ll be rubbish worth. Besides that it only takes one woman, who knows about it to switch it back into the “on” position whilst she claims to be “specially attentive” to you, if you see what I’m driving at…

Hence I still think it is waaay better to go for the “real thing” as in total vasectomy. That would certainly be my option (ie. once I might get really rich…).

I'd rather die a natual death with a clear MGTOW conscience somewhere off the grid than one within "modern" civilisation with a big stress mark on my forehead and a couple of dozen tubes plugged into my body. Back to the plantation..? Me..? Hey, literally: I won't ever fucking kid myself...YZERLMNTSIC

It gives you time to think about the ramifications of your decision.

From an engineering standpoint, I understand it. You have to make sure that things have fail-safes. What if you bump it during the day, and then don’t notice it’s off?

If it weren’t for that, we’d have guys here claiming it’s too easy for women to sabotage.

I don’t think a surgery is the best way to go.

Even with some type of way to ensure you don’t knock a woman up, there still is the issue of STD’s.
