I guess she also left you with a checksum error in the BIOS and you are caught in a boot loop. And your backup BIOS is also corrupted.
Unsolder the chip, and reprogram it with the Galep EEPROM writer.

That’s what I did to get over smoking 60 cigarettes a day in the year 2000. I renovated my entire place and even replaced the shells of my CD collection.
