I made my final house payment today, it feels great to be out of debt. I always appreciate the discussions on here about getting out of debt and how it impacts our freedom. Thanks Guys.

Grats brother, now you will be even a bigger target for gold digging whores but you have the red pill in you and can dodge that s~~~ before it even hits you. Can’t wait to hear your stories of all the stupid women that thought they could trap you and instead were crushed and defeated.

    Awsome!

I’m so glad I don’t have a mortgage, I would have had to sell the place or lose it to default, thanks to the f~~~ing maniacs destroying this republic by destroying it’s economy!

Welcome to the 1%. Your membership card and exclusive printed t-shirt should be arriving by mail shortly.

    But seriously…

    Keep making the payments,,,,,,TO YOURSELF!

    ^^^THIS!

Take the money you used to be spending on your mortgage and save it. It’s amazing how much you can save when you’re not paying someone else interest. Then start investing it. Rental properties are particularly satisfying, but only if you can stomach tenants.

Well done brother…I would advise that you take the same amount your house payment was and start banking that s~~~…Great way to put some money away for whatever may come in the future…Anyways, very nice sir, very nice!!!

Definitely this. Its really sweet when you get a decent chunk of money in investments and your dividends or rental income start to become a noticeable amount of money. Its a double win…not only are you not paying someone else interest, but you are earning interest on your money! Every time I buy more dividend paying stock its like I’m buying myself future income for life…its awesome…much better use of my money than paying interest and being a debt slave.

Nice job dude! what’s the next goal?

In addition to saving like Sidecar and Jermiah suggested, I want to focus on my hobbies more, I have made some money with one of my them but want to see where it goes when I can focus more on it. I enjoy my job, but it’s not my life. Appreciate it guys.

Hopefully she won’t get in, my lesbian sister said she’s voting for Trump, I thought hell froze over when I heard that.

Congratulations, you are now as free as it is pretty much possible to be.

Expect every body else to be p~~~ed off at how selfish you are being for not manning up and heading off to the plantation every day to provide for some wifestitute.

After my divorce my plan was as follows :

1)Save every single penny I can for a house deposit.
    2)Buy a house.
3)Save every penny I can to pay off the mortgage.
4)Once the mortgage is paid off save every penny so I can work part time and spend my time doing what I want to do.

I am currently 42 and I now have enough deposit to buy my own house so I am just about to get to step 2. I am hoping to pay the mortgage off in 10 years time which will tie in nicely with my child support payments ending. That will mean all my salary is 100% mine and I will be able to relax and do what I want to do for a change.

Wow. BIG gratz on that. What an accomplishment. You planning anything special to celebrate?

When I paid off a debt once, I went to Ruth’s Chris and celebrated with a $50 filet mignon. For all the sacrifices and the strain and the SCARY part of signing a mortgage, be good to yourself. We don’t do that often enough.

If you keep doing what you've always done... you're gonna keep getting what you always got.

Hell yeah! Way to go man! All good advice mentioned above. Celebrate, and then keep plowing ahead! You will find that as your cash pile grows quickly, you’re going to enjoy the hell out of that too!

That first deep breath after you’ve gotten out of debt is a sweet one!
