    – All of the Ultima games, Underworld and UWII were my favorites.
    – Everquest. Never got into EQII.
    – Runescape
    – Played a great deal of SSI gold box games back in the day.

Still have the Baldur’s Gate and Icewind Dale series, Pool of Radiance, Neverwinter Nights I & II with expansions.

Need for speed porsche 2000 (unleashed).

Indeed the game was timeless. Actually only got around to playing through the campaign maybe a year ago. The Porsche test team campaign was maddeningly difficult as some points. I still remember on the final challenge. I pushed the mouthy c~~~ into the wall on a high speed turn and left her in the dust for the rest of the race.

I didn’t get introduced to that game until the summer of 2000 myself. It was during the computer time part of a daycamp I attended for a week. My friend was quite fond of it.

    Streets of Sim City

Although I didn’t have access to Interstate ’76 back then. I did know someone with a copy of SOSC. It was a pretty poorly made game in retrospect, but we still enjoyed it, because that was all we had. You could put your Sim City 2000 cities into the game as well.

    Titanic Adventure out of Time.

A point and click adventure from the 90’s where you were a British agent that failed his mission on the Titanic. After getting trapped in your flat by the landlady, a bomb from WW2 blows up outside and transports you back to 1912.

    SWAT3: GOTY

This is probably one of the best and most forgotten tactical FPS games that ever came out. Everything about this game was awesome and we used to play it alot when I was younger. Sadly it dosen’t work very well with modern Windows and no one seems to be motivated to give it the love it deserves.

WWF Wrestlefest is an all time favorite of mine.

    WWF Wrestlefest

The best character is probably the Ultimate Warrior. Gorilla Press Slam and Running splash = GAME OVER.

Oh man I loved Ultima 6 on the ol’ Tandy.

I didn’t see super metroid mentioned yet. Loved the mood set in that game.

    Traitors Gate.

A point click adventure in Quicktime where you as agent Raven of the CIA have to infiltrate the Tower of London and swap the crown jewels with replicas ahead of an anticipated robbery by a rogue agent.

The TMNT arcade games were great, same with The Simpsons.
I never played WWF wrestlefest, my first WWF game was on SEGA “Royal Rumble” Great gameplay for such an old game. WWE RAW came after Royal Rumble but was not nearly as fun.

Well don’t feel old. I’m 34, and I remember games that looked like that in my elementary school years. Hell, I remember when computer monitors had only one color: green.

Max, you sound like a sega era kid, I was one too !

Ristar, Sonic, Golden Axe, Streets of Rage, they were gold ! One of my favourites rpgs of all times was Phantasy Star for Master System.

Also some Snes games like Mario, Zelda, Metroid, Final Fantasy and Breath of Fire.

From my Playstation 1 nostalgic era, would be the first and second resident evil, tomb raider 2, Omikron, Metal Gear Solid, vigilante 8, twisted metal and need for speed.

I’m a Sega, NES, SNES, PS1 era person.

    NES:
    Super Mario Bros/Duck Hunt
Ninja Turtles 1 – III Manhattan Project
    Zelda/Link (Gold version)
    Little Nemo
Ghostbusters – the only NES game I own I never won
    Mario Bros 2, 3
    Dragon Warrior
    Ultima Exodus
    Mega Man III

    Genesis:
    Mortal Kombat 1, 2
    Ninja Turtles Hyperstone Heist
    Sonic 1 – Knuckles
    Street Fighter II
ECCO The Tides Of Time – Always made me feel motion sick
    Monopoly – My favorite version

    SNES:
    Ninja Turtles IV
    Mario Bros All Stars
    Mystical Ninja
    Wrestling Royal Rumble
    Street Fighter II
    Mortal Kombat

    PS1:
Resident Evil – Hence the screen name and Umbrella logo
    Tomb Raider
    Mortal Kombat Trilogy
Test Drive 5 – Great soundtrack
    Ten Pin Alley
    Gran Turismo

Any system after the PS1 is not nostalgic in my opinion.

But hey, I’m a 80s and 90s era gamer and a damn competitive one back in the day, I can’t tell you that no one I played with has beaten me at anything.
