Since I’ve stopped chasing after girls I’ve found myself with more free time lately and decided to dig in the closet and see what games I had leftover from the past. I do own a PS3 and might play it once or twice a week, but I’ve gotten bored with the games. So I decided to play some older ones and the ones I played are still pretty fun to me. Here is my list of older games that I found and still love:
Command & Conquer Red Alert / Red Alert 2
Starcraft
Sim Farm
Roller Coaster Tycoon 3
Civilization IV / Civilization Beyond the Sword
Fallout New Vegas
Sonic the Hedgehog 2
Oddworld: Abe’s OdysseyDoes anyone else ever still play the above mentioned games? Or have any older games that you still enjoy?
The four Jedi Knight games. Dark Forces, Jedi Knight, Jedi Outcast, Jedi Academy.
And the original Knights of the Old Republic RPG.
Those five are some of the best classic Star Wars games.
Outside of flight simulators, those are some of the best Star Wars games made. Though, the Star Wars The Old Republic MMO is good.
Love Command and Conquer. I played the entire series through, and if I had the disks still would start over again!. I am stuck on Civilization III though, I don’t like the add-ons in IV. I prefer the simplicity of III and play it occasionally still.

Just a handful here:
Morrowind (will always and forever be my favorite game)
C&C Red Alert 1
Rollercoaster Tycoon 1
Sim City 2000
Unreal Tournament ’99 (GOTY)
Emperor: Battle for Dune
DOOM 1 & 2
Duke Nukem 3D
Stunts 4D (fit on one 1,44 MB floppy!)"One of the best things internet exposed is just how insane women are." - Freeman_K
Mech warrior

I went to a Museum exhibit recently that covered the history of electronic games (okay, I am showing my age here!) and played some ancient nostalgic games:
Tempest
Defender
Joust
Star Wars (Vector graphic version)
RobotronAll of them in pristine, restored condition, and set to free play.
I came of age in the 1980’s, M.U.L.E. was one of my favorite computer games. Also Ballblazer/Ballblaster, Centipede, and Galaga.
In the city where I reside, there is a revival of stand-up/coin-operated games, with several ‘barcades’ offering quite a selection.
I downloaded Final Fantasy 7 on my PS4. It’s cool you can hit the turbo button and speed through the game.
I also like Counter-Strike, played that game since beta version
Your 20's are for learning, your 30's are for earning.
SWAT3 GOTY. Even today this game is still in a class of its own.
Midtown Madness 1 and 2. Although they are dated now and show their age severely. They were the among the best open world driving games before GTA3 came along. I must have poured hours into that game just driving around breaking stuff.
Need for Speed Hot Pursuit III
Need for Speed: High Stakes
Need for Speed: Porsche UnleashedI’m especially fond of those games. EA never produced any games after that surpassed their greatness.
Road Rash ’95. – Good times with that one.
The four Jedi Knight games. Dark Forces, Jedi Knight, Jedi Outcast, Jedi Academy.
Grew up with Jedi Outcast and Jedi Academy. Although officially I only own Jedi Academy because I got it as part of a deal from the Source years ago. Both were amazing games and I’m not even into Star Wars. Trying to make maps for JA was greatly entertaining.
Even better is that prior to Disney buying up all the Star Wars IP, Raven released the source code for Jedi Outcast and Jedi Academy and it has been fixed up and released as OpenJK. Makes me happy I bought it.

Sim City 2000

DOOM 1 & 2
Duke Nukem 3D
Stunts 4D (fit on one 1,44 MB floppy!)I can attest to this.
Roller Coaster Tycoon 1 and 2 with all the expansions. I spent alot of hours as a young teenager on that game building elaborate parks. Reminds me of life before I understood how bad women are. An optimistic time in life.
I didn’t spend much time on Red Alert, but I do remember Tiberian Sun, which is now freeware. The game was very difficult, but it was a good concept. I should get that one out again.
Sim City 2000 SE was a good game too. Although I never got to try 3000 until just recently when it appeared on GOG. 2000 went well with Streets, which although it was a horribly screwed up game, it was good enough and ran on low end hardware.
Also grew up with Duke Nukem 3D. Never properly played through it because I hate those slime things. But I do remember being proficient with the BUILD editor in my younger years when I had nothing to do.
Chess is one game you will never use up.
Society asks MGTOWs: Why are you not making more tax-slaves?
Pacman / Tetris ftw
I thought what I'd do was I'd pretend I was one of those deaf-mutes...or should I?
Let me show some age here as well… going back I’d wish I kept most of my SSI games, they were always ones I would play for hours on end… graphics were horrible back in the C64 days, but they were still fun!

Certainly SSI made some of the best military games of the time.
Some favourite PC games I played in the very early 90s.
good thread
quite a few bring back good memories
Super Star Wars Trilogy on the SNES
Zelda Ocarina of Time
All Rare N64 games
Skies of Arcadia
Resident Evil 1-4
Paper Mario N64 and Paper Mario Thousand Year Door (one of the best games ever)
Shenmueand I could probably stretch this list out into infinity but will stick with these ones off the top of my head
Anonymous5Have you ever heard about a urban legend about a game called polybius ? And also playing hexen on the n 64 it’s like doom only you get to use swords .
Blood
Fallout 2
Starcraft 1 online (iccup server).
Need for speed porsche 2000 (unleashed).
Morrowing with overhaul.
Unreal Tournament 99.
Hitman Codename 47 (f~~~ me, I did not remember this game being so hard). The four Jedi Knight games. Dark Forces, Jedi Knight, Jedi Outcast, Jedi Academy.
And the original Knights of the Old Republic RPG.

Yes! I forgot about Dark Forces and Rebel Assault! So many hours spent on those haha. Even Rogue Squadron for N64 was badass.
I just got on Steam and downloaded Tie Fighter. Arguably the best Star Wars flight sim ever. Can’t wait to get home and play it haha.
@DYD, was that a screenshot of Maniac Mansion?
