iMickey, thanks for all that info! Those older 3 series are real nice, quite hard to find but there are plenty of newer ones for only a few £k.

I’m switching my mentality to look more at older, reliable cars. The ‘good feels’ of driving a car that’s bulletproof and cheap will outweigh driving an expensive chick magnet!

I drive a very old, beat up pickup truck that is mechanically very well maintained…the truck looks like s~~~ but it runs like it is almost new.

It is not a comfortable vehicle for really long distances…but it gets the job done, it doesn’t attract attention.

I do splurge on my bikes a bit….I also remove the passenger pegs and seat and set it up for a solo rider…in the case that any woman wants me to take her for a ride…I point it out that it can’t take a passenger (“Sorry…no motorcycle ride for you…”)
