I will make this one short and sweet…..wanted to hear if the gang has much experience with this. I have a high conflict ex (can’t ghost from her…kid involved). You know the type…..she could kick you in the b~~~~ and then be angry because you responded by saying ” Ow you f.ing bitch!”. When she tells her friends the story she would leave out the part that she kicked you in the b~~~~……she would only tell the part where you called her a f.ing bitch. As an example today she told me I should die, I am the devil, I have ruined her life, that everyone hates me, etc. etc. This was because I didn’t want to comply with something she wanted.

So I have heard just about every variation in the book that high conflict exes use to start fights, escalate fights, cause drama etc. One I had not experienced firsthand yet (but figured would happen eventually) is when the ex gets a current boyfriend convinced that you are very mean/threatening verbally and that he needs to “give you a talking too”. At least this is what she was threatening me with. Translation….she can’t do enough damage on her own so she wants to bring in allies to stir up trouble and hopefully draw you into a fist fight that she can laugh at or call the police on you. I hate drama but if she winds this guy up I will have no choice but to deal with it. Don’t really know much about him. We are both not spring chickens age wise.

What would the MGTOW gang do? Or what have you done in your own experience with this? If confronted do I tell the guy the truth….that she is a drama stirring nut bag that can’t be trusted? Or Ignore her and hope he never says anything? Or tell him as recently as two weeks ago she asked to get back together with me but flipped out when I told her hell no? Or do I take the hard stance and just treat him like an enemy too with all precautions taken? Obviously I don’t want some blue piller thinking he has to defend his “sweet” (cough..cough) girlfriends honor by bashing me over the head with something.

This should get some interesting replies I bet šŸ™‚

If legal for you strap up.
If you cannot carry a boom stick get the sharpest nastiest knife that is legal for you to carry.

At the very least get a multi-tool (leatherman type) put a long lanyard on it. Carry it on your belt.

If pussy beggar Chad is sincere about starting s~~~, well…

You’ve GOT to give her the Empty Chair.

    chair

I understand you have a child with her, I have a Bitch ex wife who has custody of my child.

You have to ghost her. You may not get to hear from your child for a few weeks, but that’s nothing compared to the healing that will happen once she realizes she can no longer manipulate you.

Once my divorce was finalized, if she EVER started at me with attitude, she got a dial tone and no responses for at least a week.

Don’t read the texts, don’t listen to the voicemails.

SHE HAS NO POWER OVER YOU.

    You are her emotional tampon.

You don’t have to fight back anymore. Just quit. Give her the empty chair.

It’s the best revenge and the easiest.

Why deal with her and put yourself in hell? Either divorce her or take the kid…The kid is the only thing that matters to you…Talk to her through an attorney and not directly…She knows how to push your buttons so dont hang around…Ghost when needed and explain to the kid what you are going to do but explain that if the kid wants to live with you then let it be so…
Just do what it takes to get the kid legally so you can have a peaceful life…

    She wants conflict.

    Avoid it by all means.

Record everything having to do with them. EVERYTHING.

If you live in a state where both have to know, you can still record secretly if you believe/suspect criminal behavior may occur. If she is trying to have her boyfriend threaten you, that is threatening bodily harm. That is a crime. If he actually then does it that’s assault. And she is then an accomplice because she encouraged it and you have it on tape.

Don’t tell them either because they may then lie to cops, and may brag/threaten in anger to you they will lie to the cops, and its their word against yours. If you get that recorded, you’ve got conspiracy, lying to law enforcement, false reports, and trying to SWAT you with police. The police will not trust anything they say after hearing this. This will also be a second reason as to why you are recording it. One, for your personal safety and two, because they were going to try to frame/threaten you by lying to the police.

Do not give up the recordings to the police. Make them copies instead if they say they have to have them. This is your personal evidence you need to keep, but you will be happy to provide copies to the police when you and your attorney come in to file a complaint report and press charges against this woman and her boyfriend.

You have to cover your six, especially when on your own. Also get a dash cam for your car. Use it when you drive, especially solo.

Women want everything, but want responsibility and accountability for nothing.

I’d tell him he can meet me anytime, I’ll choose the place. He won’t show up. That’s been my experience anyway but I can be a bit intimidating.

I would not talk to her a word more than legally required. Ignore everything else with the bitch.

I doubt this “phantom boyfriend” that’s going to “teach you a lesson” even exists. Why? Because that manipulative Bitch is the one who told you about it.

She’s manipulating you, causing you stress and worry, and SHE LOVES EVERY SECOND OF IT.

    Stop giving her the power.

Harness the true power of NoF~~~sGiven and watch a calm come over your life.

Stop reacting to her. If she tries to discuss ANYTHING other than the well being of your child, shut it down. If you need to be cordial, then just stare blankly. Don’t listen.

All good advice. I laughed pretty good when I read yours Old Sage! Straight and to the point.

Nomadic Expat….the Chair is a good tactic. I have had various success with that one. The whole kid thing as leverage is what gets me. She is great at that tactic. There should be a special punishment in the afterlife for people like that.

She is what I call a ” Level 1 Button Pusher”. She just keeps trying different buttons to get a reaction and never stops trying to find a hole in your defenses. Mind you she isn’t like this all the time….that’s why its hard for people to except what she can be like unless they know her personally. For those that have never had the delight of dealing with someone who has mental issues you are missing out. She is an expert at using a kid to Segway into an argument. Conversation tonight started out about picking up homework from school cause kid was sick…..turned into a death spiral of BS while my son sat next to her listening. I wish my phone had automatic recording capability. The stuff I would have captured over the years would be priceless. Same way with Security Cameras.

Her BF does actually exist. I have spoken with him a few times. I think he believes she is normal…big mistake on his part. She is going to burn him….just a matter of time.

I can 100% see her trying to spin this guy up into a tizzy against me over something dumb. This is a common tactic nut bags use called “triangulation”…..three points of contact….you and the ex plus whoever they draw in that day to tag team against you. They are great at making people sympathetic to their lies. White Knights run to the fight from far and wide!

I don’t like to get too precise in my details or my tactics since this is the internet and records are FOREVER….but I will say that most of the opinions listed so far are noted and appreciated.

It’s best to avoid fighting if possible, but if the dude starts pushing you around, whack him in the nose—that usually disorients people and gives you time to walk away from the situation.

I also think you should try your best to get a third party member to make arrangements to see your kid. Let them know that you only want to speak to your kid and the only communication you want with that couple is about serious business. You shouldn’t have to deal with threats and other nonsense.

I wonder if the new boyfriend will someday figure out that he’s just a tool in her toolbox.

Anyway, protect yourself and what’s yours. I hope all goes well for you.

She’s not going to get the other guy involved. She just wants to f~~~ with you and scare you. If the guy does come, get everything on camera. Record your conversations with her too. If she’s making threats or being abusive, report her. Do not escalate or initiate any violence but defend yourself.

I spent $25,000 to get a court order. Court order said the c~~~ and I would meet at a police station for the hand off.

How hard can it be, meet about half way, meet at a safe place for everyone, everyone behaves, everyone is on camera, get out of line, officer friendly turns into officer whupass.

I filed 5 complaints against the c~~~, everything from sticking a hunting knife into my door, to car chases, disorderly conduct, phone harassment, assault, nothing stuck.

meeting at the police station, lol bitch started something with the police, bitching about some stupid thing, and three cops shoved her ass in a side room so I could leave with the kids.

so I moved, and the meeting point moved, again court order, to a mcdonalds, public place, cameras.

I used to wait for her late ass by doing homework, doing suduko and I had colored pencils and coloring books for the kids. after the kids sat with me, I completely ignored the c~~~ and chad.

c~~~ lied to chad about me being this massively outraged dude going to hurt her. lol im doing suduko, im coloring flowers with the kids.

c~~~ tried to run me over in the parking lot with the kids in the truck, 3x.

An easy option is to only talk by text. There is a record and you can take your time to answer.

Pursue any legal remedy possible and if you have to deal with her boyfriend. Try talking out the problems and maybe even expose her.

One I had not experienced firsthand yet (but figured would happen eventually) is when the ex gets a current boyfriend convinced that you are very mean/threatening verbally and that he needs to ā€œgive you a talking tooā€. At least this is what she was threatening me with. Translation….she can’t do enough damage on her own so she wants to bring in allies to stir up trouble and hopefully draw you into a fist fight that she can laugh at or call the police on you.

This is a time-worn classic. The way to deal with this is to think ahead.

Go to your lawyer and start a paper trail. This will serve you well in court should it come to that, and also at the time if he turns up on your doorstep and there is an incident.

You’ll be able to say to the cops that he is already ‘known’. That will give you more credibility and undermine his.

Even a simple letter from your lawyer to him might come as a shock. He may be unaware that she has been making these threats on his behalf and may not be at all pleased.

Use a wire, download and print texts, emails etc in which this threat is made (it is a threat of violence. It doesn’t need to be explicit).

Start to stitch them up now.

If it does come to violence, if possible make sure that it occurs on your property – preferably inside the house. Even a few inches over the threshold will do, providing that this can be proven.

You might have enough justification for a restraining order. She certainly would if you were acting this way towards her.

A restraining order would send a message to her that she must keep her drama under control because her actions would now be documented.
That would also deter any white knights who she might be using against you.
