When you have your testosterone optimized, your FREE, BOUND, UNBOUND, (but Albumin carried) AND total will increase.

While Testosterone helps with erection, there are many other factors that play in.

Basically, there are 4 reasons for erectile problems:

    Psychogenic:
More common proportionally, the younger you are and often MOST difficult to treat, requiring high doses of ICP medications. Underlying issues will need to be solved, which often means psychotherapy and trigger removals/addressing.

    Neurogenic:

Nerve damage after surgery (think prostatectomy), radiation therapy and neuropathy from diabetes. Impossible to treat without ICP and Viagra has limited success.

    Vasculogenic:

Hyperlipidemia will affect the penile artery significantly. This is why erectile issues in someone with cardiac issues is a powerful marker for vascular disease. Not that diabetes can’t be both of vascular and neurological causation. Needs powerful ICP mix and especially vasodilator power, but high dose prostaglandins are also useful.

    Hormonal:

The LEAST LIKELY solitary etiology unless your T is below 200, but if it were you would have low libido to begin with.

It is s misnomer that most ED can be corrected with raising T only. Few men walk around with such a low T. However, if you have low T, let’s say in 300’s, raising it to, let’s say 600 will give you harder erections.

Morning erection is highly dependent upon intact function of all 4, the more the better. In addition to that, a penis that is not getting adequate REM sleep will not have as much “exercise” while you sleep. This is why medications that deprive you of that are so damaging. With less night elections, your penis will be less frequently going erectcand fibrosis can ensue. Now, if you have some of the factors above in addition, it gets more tricky. To say it short; Xanax and all other Benzos is HORRIBLE for your erection.

It is NOT the high levels of T in AM that leads to the erection, but rather that you probably were at end of REM cycle and is leveling out. If peaking levels gave you AM erections, every man who had their T raised, would have priapism all day.

Bioidetical Testosterone is best given as topical cream, while the injectible variant is mostly cyprionated synthetic type preserved in sesame oil. Bioidentical comes mostly from the wild Yam plant. The corporate medicine only uses injectible since it can be patented and the shelf life is long. Compounded bioidentical T cannot be patented since it’s derived from a plant and NOT are-synthesized.

One side effect some people are very uncomfortable with is testicular shrinkage as the pituatitary axis is shut down, something that affects the FSH. This is where proper cycling and middle ground is important. In a fertile man, this can easily be controlled with HCG given in addition.

The worst thing is giving too much T. More is not better and excess will raise your Estradiol levels, which will give you all the adverse effects of that in a male. This can be controlled with adding an aroma rose inhibitor or even natural reservatrol.

The heart attack issue IS (probably) a clinical concern if you use injectable T and raise levels too fast, probably due to raising estradiol, something that gives blood cloths. You may also thicken the blood to much as your hrmatocrit goes up. Now, if you don’t monitor that as well, you could stroke out.

This is me typing as I think in rapid pace. Now, imagine having to take all these factors into consideration along with a man’s age; lab panel and clinical picture. You think you can do this in a 15-minute visit, mostly spent on rooming you and then the corporate drone typing on an EMR most of the time?

Only an absolute fool of a physician would just give out a “prescription for free” and let a man play and experiment. It is dangerous; irresponsible and the physician is on the hook since he gave out a drug and did little follow-up of it. In the state I work, there is at least 3-5 people every quarter who gets reported to medical board for not doing this properly.

I am as Libertarin as they come and don’t think there should be ANY regulations of what people do. However, if people just went and bought plenty T at Walmart and started experimenting, it would be akin to me jumping off a cliff with a wingsuit I never tried and a canopy too small. It would “probably” work out one time, but if I did it every week, it would kill me.

I could (and will down the road) tell you stories about “professors” who lecture about hormones and have no concepts of this. Their knee jerk is that it causes prostate cancer and gives you heart attacks. The former is debunked to the extreme, but the latter has some merit to it.

Finally, estradiol should not be too low either. Too low level of estradiol will KILL most people.

I get triggered when ignorant people just think you can go and buy some T and self-treat yourself to success stories. Not gonna happen. I wouldn’t treat myself, because I couldn’t be objective and that is despite probably knowing more about this than 99% of physicians.

Do NOT treat yourself, or try figuring this out by using the internet. Do NOT listen to anyone online for concrete directions regarding YOUR care, even if it is me 😉 talking.

It’s like people using massage to prevent pulled hamstrings. It may help, but will not do much unless you attack it preventively and in recovery phase with adding Russian curls.

You cannot know this unless you study it. Can you weld a complex engine or wire up your own switch box in the house without extensively knowing what you do? Can you take on an MMA fighter without mental; spiritual and physical training to the extreme?

If you don’t know what you don’t know, you are truly on deep water. I probably did that when I did my first BASE jump at age of 17. It was reckless; foolish; stupid and arrogant. I didn’t listen to mentors that had more than 25 jumps from the same rock (but not same spot) as Carl Boebish got killed in 1984. His wife jumped again the day after he died, but STILL not from spot he died. She climbed up and inspected the spot and thought it wasn’t jumpable, with exception of MAYBE a slider down jump, although she didn’t try. The place he jumped from has still not had anyone jumping from it and surviving. He did a very arrogant mistake as he packed with slider up and still popped the pilot chute right away. He was a BASE legend, but even legends do foolish things. If you remember Moonraker, James Bond, he does the skydive stunt where he jumped without parachute there.

I realize now how lucky I was to even survive and learned a lot from it.

Do not go on deep water unless you know how to swim AND have stamina to match.

I have said my point here. This is unfortunately becoming the norm of thinking in entitled America.

If you read my comment, you will see that I said that he should go to a doctor in first case, but the problem is, the man has no money to maintain the treatment, so what you suggest ?

This is not about doctors working for free, is about a person that needs treatment and don’t have enough money.

    Do YOUR OWN RESEARCH.

    Good point brother !!
If I had believed in one doctor, I would had a surgery.
I went to another 3 doctors, both of them make some tests and said that the first doctor was just saying bulls~~~.
A friend who is a MD told me, that the first doctor is the owner of a clinic where he perform the surgeries, in other words:

This is his easy way to get money, this is how those clinics get tons of money.

The best way to go is doing your own research, study, go to some MDs, don’t believe in nothing until it is confirmed by another MD. There are some good folks among them, but also there are some of them that see others people disgrace as profit.

This is not about doctors working for free, is about a person that needs treatment and don’t have enough money.

It was very clear what was the gestalt of your message, IMHO.

If someone has no money, what should be do,if he is hungry? If he cannot afford comprehensive treatment, you at suggesting he should go and get a prescription without thinking about how that physician is liable for everything that may happen to him. You are not immune from malpractice, board action or reputation consequences simply because you gave something for free.

Also, you did not address ongoing management and long-term strategies. Or do you intend for others to manage that?

Your last sentence said it all. You sound just like an advocate for Obamacare here. I am not responsible for people not having money. The entire crux of your message remains one of others working for free. Think again about how you talk here. You sound like a typical liberal. Next you will be calling me selfish and greedy.

There are plenty of things I wanted in life I couldn’t afford, but I didn’t demand others to pay for it. Good luck finding physicians willing to do what you said and expect quality out of it. I have said enough, will never talk to you again.

I am not responsible for people not having money

Again, IT IS NOT ABOUT YOU ! The focus here is our brother who asked for help, if your solution for his problem is that he should get more money, ok, but the focus is not YOU, is HIS PROBLEM the focus of this topic.

If someone has no money, what should be do,if he is hungry?

I think that you don’t get the point of his question, he have money, but keep paying 300$/month is not something that he can afford, he is trying to get a solution that is acceptable, but is also cheap. Is like when you buy a car, isn’t because you can’t afford a 200k car, that it doesn’t mean that you can’t buy a car. But AGAIN, this topic is about his question NOT ABOUT YOU. If your solution is “get more money”, ok, there is no need to be aggressive, there is no need to be arrogant, there is no need even to pollute this thread.

There are plenty of things I wanted in life I couldn’t afford, but I didn’t demand others to pay for it

Save money is not make other’s people pay for you, saving money is about making smart decisions. He want to save money, he NEVER asked for someone to pay it for him.

You sound like a typical liberal. Next you will be calling me selfish and greedy.

You got offended for things that you IMAGINED that I would say IF I’m the person that you IMAGINED

Aside from Dr. S~~~head getting butt hurt…

Tap water where I live has a touch of that swimming pool flavor…

Setting aside a container exposed to open air should clean out the chlorine or adding food grade H2O2 in the right proportions to the chlorine will also neutralize it.
I drink mineral rich ground water and can’t drink municipal water, yet they serve it in fine restaurants? Destroys the flavor of EVERYTHING! I feed myself much better anyway! Activated charcoal filter also filters chlorine leaving a bland flavorless water, the right blend of minerals and water taste the best! I like my water and so does everyone else that ever tasted it. I feel sorry for the people that drink s~~~ like chlorine, fluoride, and chlorinated fecal coliform! WTF?

I heard eating a lot of nuts will increase your t level also. Walnuts, ,cashews, pecans, etc. I eat a lot of cashews. And eggs. And I think I got high t. S~~~ I’m 45 and seems my sex drive is the same as it was when I was 20. Plus I’m very physically active at work for 12 he’s a day to. My only problem is I have a high sex drive but have totally given up on women. Seriously been thinking of one of them sex robots. They look real as f~~~.

    Tribulus Terrestris.
Available in most health shops. Natural plant extract that increase production of Testosterone. Very effective.

For an extra boost if you excercise try Anabol Testo.
    Same stuff but turbo charged.

    Not anabolics or anything.

I started taking them about a year ago after noticing symptoms of low testosterone following vasectomy.

I swear by them. Making a massive difference.

There’s plenty here to read about increasing T levels naturally. However what’s not really discussed is how much estrogen we’re injesting on a daily basis.

Water for one. Water treatment plants are not designed to remove estrogen from the water or other medical hormones for that matter that is deposited into the public water system. But water from the tap is treated better than so called ‘bottled’ water. I’ve been struggling with this issue myself, i’ve contemplated installing a reverse osmosis water filter system but they’re costly. So right now I just buy distilled water, the theory being the conversion to steam and then back to water removes the most s~~~ from the water.

And then there’s plastics. If you have plastic storage containers, go get some glass pyrex containers instead. If you heat up microwave dinners, take them out of the plastic crap they come in and put it on a real plate. If you drink water out of plastic, don’t, get a stainless steel water bottle or use a glass. basically get rid of any plastics that are touching your food and drink it leeches chemicals into your foods and affects T levels over time. Try and buy milk in those old school glass jugs instead of plastic containers.

Anyway that’s my contribution on this topic.

I had a specialist doc do tests on me and told me my T was low. Down around 80. He recommend shots.

The second opinion went like this.

Have you feinted or lost consciousness?
    Nope.
    Don’t worry about it then.
Never went back or got any shots and I have no issues.

Unless you are deficient in cholesterol, eggs are not proven to help raise your levels. Cholesterol is endogenously made as well.

Too much cholesterol is not good either. I had patients that came t me and was on statins, eating eggs every day and then wanted to be started on T. A huge mess, especially if their cardiologist insisted on his LDL’s staying below 90, or even 70. Medicine is soooo fragmented in America these days that I even have heard a kidney specialt being surprised over hearing opiates makes people fatigued.. nobody wants to use brain any more.

This stuff is complex s He11, but oh God how fascinating stuff. My “mini dream” is to open a T clinic in the new science “Silicon Valley” that is emerging in Moscow. From next year, Russia will let foreign docs practice without having to sit for Russian medical boards if they are board certified in another country. Some US medical corporations are already aiming of going there and setting up shop. Once I got my Russian back up and have found a good and headstrong Russian entrepreneur to help me out, I will open a clinic there, planned for medical tourism and also lower cost option for Russian men.

Did I say I love Russia, Russians and Russian culture? I think I did, despite a couple of relatives, I obviously never met, who died during Talvisota and Jatkosota. However, my grandfather spent 6 months in Norway prison for spying on German navy in Northern Norway in 1943 and 44 and giving away ship locations to Soviet intelligence. First thing they (Norwegian intelligence) did after war was to throw him in prison for “foreign fighting”. I am sure the Cold War had NOTHING to do,with that. Personally, I am very distraught over how the relationship has soured between USA and Russia. Norwegians feel, caught in the middle, but I don’t.think there are many who would sign up for any protracted conflict with them. That would be the ultimate corporate slave fest, no thanks..

I can even put drink the Russians, but then again, I got 25% Finnish blood, so……..

0_0 Very surprised by reading this… As far as I remeber, in 2016 there was only 1 (!) such medical center in Russia, which services were backed up by standart medical issurance. Well, government definitely don’t give a s~~~ about us, men in Russia.

SoaringTiger, I didn’t gave any single advice to any person who want to came to Russia in live, but it’s definately to know as much detailes as possible. That is another reason why I’m trying to bring information about current living conditions in Russia to the light.

Unfortunately, missed second part of this thread. I can say, that as a new member I can be misunderstood too (English is my second language, I haven’t aknowledged all aspects of forum, etc.) and it happens sometimes. I’m trying to avoid it as much as I can, maybe SoaringTiger doing it too?
Anyway, I would appreciate SoaringTiger’s advice about ashwagandha, if he would be interested in doing so.

    Thanks gents…appreciate all the feedback.

With regards to the water, I’m thinking the best solution might be a filtration system. I used one of those PUR pitchers for about a year, but stopped using them b/c I found out that it just cuts down on the cholrine and doesn’t even put a dent in the flouride.

Thought about getting one of those Alexapro filtering systems…supposedly they’re much better than Britta/PUR. Anyone have any experience with filtration systems? I live in a studio apartment so rain barrels or other rainwater collection systems are out of the question.

I’m also using iodine/silver toothpaste instead of flouride, been doing so for about 6 months. Also been adding cruciferous veggies to my diet (i.e. raw broccoli & cauliflower) as well as Strawberry/Cocoa smoothies (lactose free milk, organic strawberries and unsweetened dark cocoa powder).

The main reason I want to boost my T is to lose weight. I heard it’s like a catch-22…body fat kills T levels, while low T levels increases body fat. Probably should just find a trainer.

Again…thx for all the feedback guys.
