My most recent ex of 4 years broke up with me in July a few days before my birthday which is weird because my two ex’s before her broke up with me a week before my birthday as well. Anyways after she broke up with me she wanted to start stripping which I supported because she always hated a 9-5 and hated making $400 or less a week at a full time job. 2) I have a lease that we both had to sign when moving in but it’s about to end so I will be getting my own place away from her.

The fact that you still live with this woman, despite how she’s treating you, is another sign. I am still living with her yes, we don’t sleep together and she is gone 4 days a week.
We broke up a year 1/2 ago for 4 months around my birthday but that time I was madly in love and felt like I f~~~ed up so I tried to “fix” things this time. While we broke up last time I moved out but I was the one paying the full rent while she lived there rent free and that p~~~ed me off because I couldn’t break my lease and I didn’t want to ruin my credit by not paying rent so this time I stayed because I didn’t want to give her the satisfaction on having a place to live rent free for 6 months.

my child is 3 and because we live in a common law state we do have to get divorced even though we never got married legally, yes I have talk to a family lawyer and tax lawyer and we will figure out the best solution. My state is a 50/50 state so it shouldn’t be a problem and she agrees that I shouldn’t pay child support so I shouldn’t have to battle this.

I have learned a lot in the 4 years I was with her. My father passed away when I was 13 so I always wanted a partner / family / child to honor my father and keep my blood line going.
When I meet my ex she was 18 and I was 20, she was working 2 jobs and was traditional Mexican. Cooked, cleaned, wanted kids, shy, obeyed her parents, ect… I was more of a punk kid because I was raised by my mother and angry my father was dead so she was kind of my yin to my yang so I thought. I learned that she honestly was never happy, she always complained she wanted more, she always had to change her style, she always complained she wasn’t given enough, complained that i hurt her mentally when I felt like I did nothing of that matter, and never gave her enough attention even though I gave her as much as I could. In that time I worked in the oil field working 104 hours a week and got maybe 8-10 hours off each day on the weekends once a month if lucky. I was more liberal when I was with her and started becoming who she said she wanted me to be and not who I really wanted to be and that’s when things went south because I broke out of that ball and chain and did me again. I can say i’m very happy with where I am now but still ready for whats ahead.

I can tell you right now I have good self esteem and by no means feel low about myself.
I’m 5’11 185 lbs working my way down to 165 lbs ( I like the thin fit look ).

Thanks for shedding more light on the situation. It does sound like she was first attracted to you because you were what we call around here as ‘Chad’. Since you’ve become more reliable and dependable, she’s lost interest. Looking for the next wild thing.

If she is agreeing to not require you to pay any child support, get that in writing ASAP. Chances are, she will change her mind on that rather quickly.
