Some of you know me as Antipathy, Fatal, Defiant Loner, RedTow, and perhaps a few other name changes over the past couple of years. It’s been an honor exchanging knowledge and information with all of you.

Unfortunately i see these forums headed in a similar direction as other once great forums. The trolls aren’t why i’m leaving. It’s the reaction of hysteria to the trolls, that has turned everything upside down. I was a lurker long before i was a member. We’ve ALWAYS had trolls. Back in the day we dealt with it differently. We cranked a few tuna memes out, notified KM, and that was the end of it. It wasn’t considered a big deal.

Last month i finally got my roommate and close friend to make an account here. Almost a month later he couldn’t post his introduction because this is now a “pay to post” site. He went to Reddit’s MGTOW page instead.

It seems this once great exchange of knowledge and information, has been completely overrun by paranoia. And i know a thing or two about paranoia, i was diagnosed with paranoid schizophrenia at age 22.

I constantly see threads ABOUT trolls, and about admins. The drama surrounding the trolls, is 100 times more a threat, than the trolls are themselves. They are responsible for about 10% of the s~~~ storm. The reaction to them (by members) is responsible for the other 90%.

My hopes are that those reading this, will realize how important it is, that MGTOW be something embedded deep within yourself. And realize MGTOW has no leader, YOU are the leader, YOU reading this.

It is a sad you want to leave. You are a valued member on this site if I remember correctly. You have posted many good replies on here. Also, I fail to understand why you felt it necessary to change your name so many times. I agree with you in that we have been able to handle Trolls and Tuna quite well in the past. If you are so financially unable to pay $5 to help keep this site up and running then maybe you are correct in leaving and instead finding a second job. I get Social Security. That is my only income and it is less than $900/month yet I manage to pay the $5 to help keep this site going. KM posted that he is getting just enough to keep the site online. That means that he gets nothing for maintaining this site that has SAVED MENS LIVES. This site has also brought peace, understanding of the female psyche and serenity to many more men. The problems plaguing this site will be some of the same problems wherever you go on the internet and in the MSM, TV and any other forms of communicating. Humans are generally involved and wherever humans are involved there are those that will bring their own issues. It can’t be completely avoided but it can be minimized. I am not going to beg or even ask you to stay. If you choose to leave then you are GYOW and all I can say is “May you live long and prosper”.

I was part of the reaction but that was because the trolls take all of the attention off of the real material we post.

Because of this, I am a “victim” too. You make a thread with monumental content and no one sees it. But the s~~~ gets 10 to 30 pages of responses.

We are working on a quick punt system now.

The paywall is installed to keep 99.999 per cent of the tuna out of here. Those that want to post right away have to pay and that’s what keeps them out.

And trolls want to be anonymous and so paying via credit card will not be their cup of tea.

Free members must wait for KM to clear posting rights. And with the site growing like hell, he is sometimes under water in work.

Right around Christmas time he had family matters to take care of and so new members had to wait a little longer.

Your “friend” doesn’t know what he’s talking about. If someone WANTS to pay for special features, that’s their CHOICE. Nobody is forced to pay here. The vast majority of people who post here, post with free accounts.

No.

Most of us are not mentally stable enough to resist the professional trolls we had to deal with.

The last one almost left PTSD in some members and I had to turn on the heat on his mediocre ass.

When I say to OldBill to give me all of the trolls, I mean it.
You can watch the carnage when I stick their professional and PAID FOR insults up their asses.

I ran a company right in the middle of one of the most arrogant and trollish societal “duck ponds” here.

And rich c~~~s and manginas who f~~~ed with me “for LOLs” were given the boot, sometimes until they cried. They thought that being a paying customer would give them endless torture rights…

Believe me, I would make BigRed cry and whine like a beaten animal. After all, having the last word is no big effort.

I sometimes followed s~~~ty people to the parking lot so I could have the last word when they took off… (Always covering my ass physically, of course… And waiting for them to attack me… So I can show them where it’s at)

My bad reputation made my business survive. Other shops went out of business due to the owner “having had it”.

This is true. However the rules have recently changed, as KM clearly stated in another thread. Admins no longer approve “new members” due to the female trolls. At least they haven’t approved anyone for several weeks now. The issue at hand isn’t that. It’s the fact that the reaction to a few little trolls, is massive hysteria, and unnecessarily so …

I’ve seen this time and time again on forums over the years. “Trolls” become the main stage performers, as everyone focuses on them, and what follows, is an over-reaction. Like declaring martial law because of a few isolated incidents. It’s not that bad yet, but it’s headed that way, the trajectory is parallel to what I’ve seen happen to other truly great forums.
