After over 20 years in the IT field all I can say is that windows is just built upon the previous versions, sure they change things every version but windows still does most of the s~~~ it would back on windows 3.1 they just keep adding more and more s~~~ to it. So you can say your the best of the best, but if your just updating someone elses product or coding then your really not the best of the best. Those people actually design and engineer things. Microsoft has resold the same s~~~ over and over again since the 80s. It just has more options. What are they going to tell me next that suddenly excel spreadsheets are better because some c~~~ does programming on it? Get over it. Design a better OS and I’ll be impressed.

The 32 bit architecture is still in use everywhere and MS Office 2016 automatically installs in 32 bit. (As recommended LOL)

Even my 1998 Adaptec SCSI cards and the Plextor PX40TS for error free Audio CD extraction still runs on Win 7 – 32 bit.

Nothing new, except that what MS added in Win 7 had to be installed separately back then.

The 3.2 GB RAM limitation of the 32 bit systems is also “politically motivated” so “old drivers don’t crash”…

Kinda what I was thinking. I think we’re expanding what she said to be a whole lot more than what she intended. It’s also quite possible that she was referring to the field of advocacy for an IT company….and I honestly don’t even know what the job description of that would be like. The new excel in my company stay in the loading screen for quite a time before opening and sometimes it is OK. Unlike excel 2007 in my computer.
