    In reading an earlier post by sausage fingers aka STEALTHY this morning simply titled ARTICLE (great read btw highly recommended) I misunderstood one of his references for a MGTOW level system. In going down a rabbit hole I discovered there was such a system. Being new to MGTOW in that I didn’t know there was a name for what I do (GHOST/MONK) I found it rather fascinating what’s more, that men have done this before, turns out right before the fall of empire go figure. Of course, history repeats itself. According to the system, I am a level 4. I joked around that if there is no level 5 then it should be a level, the level of NO F~~~S GIVEN or F~~~ LEVELS (tongue in cheek). Regardless of where you sit, I found it a very interesting and informative take.

    Some like levels, my opinion is levels are labels and metrics I don’t want assigned to me. My life is too fluid and depending on my situation I can jump from one extreme to the other.

    As for history, MGTOW goes as far back as back as Eve if you consider the garden story a Redpill warning.

    I was a “confirmed bachelor” until a pal informed I was a “MGTOW.”

    Words do not matter. How we live our lives is what matters.

    ‘Nuff said.

    Society asks MGTOWs: Why are you not making more tax-slaves?

    This.
    History is full of MGTOW, they just had other names. You can call them smart, aware, geniuses, etc. the men that gave the most to our society, the men that made a difference, were MGTOW.

    Even at its peak of its popularity, marriage was never anywhere near 100% and it wasn’t always because they were too unattractive to find anyone, some guys were just never interested, it’s just that due to feminism exposing female nature as well as the misandric laws and runaway gynocentrism that caused men who previously would have gotten married to go their own way instead.

    Marriage: About as appealing as wood-chipper diving.

    Any categorization is going to be a posteriori – from experience or reality. That means that it’s going to be some kind of rough group of buckets that they’re going to sort things and people into in an attempt to make sense of reality. Lots of categorizations like this do work, which is why we have the habit of doing this. I’m not convinced it’s a terribly good fit for MGTOW, and people do bounce around a bit. As many on here point out, though, this is much less of a movement than a philosophy or outlook. Lots and lots of variation and difference in various MGTOWs here and out in the big room.

    As for historical MGTOWs . . . I’m a little too bushed right now to come up with an awesome list of specific examples, but most major world religions and philosophies tend to proceed from the basis of “women are a pain in the neck, and lead to total chaos and destruction if allowed to run society”. There’s any number of authors who have listed feminism as *the* classic ingredient (along with loss of religion and too much formal education) in the collapse of empires and civilizations. Given that pattern, myriad MGTOWs have been around – their best works are from the end of Empires. See Islam, Rome, and Persia for other examples. In the Western canon, a remarkable number of brilliant world changers have been single men who swore off of women to give them focus. A lot of brilliant men have also died young from dissipation and relationship exhaustion.

    History tends to repeat; Empires based on certain ethnic groups seem prone to particular weaknesses. We certainly have more technological toys right now, but I would posit that our spirits – our hardware and firmware, if you like, are very much the same.

    "You can either love women, or understand women. You can't do both. Because once you understand women, you realize that there is really nothing to love."

    Yes, that this has happened before is what piqued my interest. I had that Duh moment and enjoyed that part of the article.I delved into that train of thought which supported my prior thesis that it is precisely the West’s overabundance coupled with a healthy welfare state that allowed these overtly politicised identity politics to take over. Just like other prior empires “Idle Hands” outsourcing trades, no domestic resources,overextended military, bread and circus’s, it’s all too familiar.

    “women are a pain in the neck, and lead to total chaos and destruction if allowed to run society”.

    We certainly have more technological toys right now, but I would posit that our spirits – our hardware and firmware, if you like, are very much the same.

    That’s what I find so funny about “Human Progress” conflating technology and morality or confusing cyclical historical events with progress, progress to where? the beginning of another empire bubble that will pop just like the last one did for the same exact reasons over and over?

    Yes MGTOW is nothing new. It is a natural reaction of men when women practice misandry.

    Feminism Responsible For The Fall Of Rome

    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    ~1-2 century AD: The family unit is destroyed. Men refuse to marry and the government tries to revive marriage with a “bachelor tax”, to no avail. Children are growing up without fathers, Roman women show little interest in raising their own children and frequently use nannies. The wealth and power of women grows very fast, while men become increasingly demotivated and engage in prostitution and vice. Prostitution and homosexuality become widespread.
    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

    There is no magic in MGTOW, just recognition of the truth and logical decision how to avoid dangers. The red pill is but the truth, it is no magical potion. Do not think in this modern world men have no longer have natural enemies, men are prey to women and government.

    Oh yes the devil taught women how to deceive and God cursed them and the world fell, again what intrigued me was men going their own way en masse for the same reason/s that we are, that MGTOW is a natural occurrence rather than an affected movement like say, any “ism” out of the barrel which requires all the theoretic prodding with linear structure or agreed upon goals. Each man simply goes his own way and rejects the blue pill lie or, at least deals with that world on his own terms.

    Absolutely. A movement is lots of people all going the same way. You can’t go your own way and be a movement.
