In the days following an EMP attack on America, I would like to know what your responses would be. This video might haves some scenarios on social breakdown, maybe you can go on those scenarios.

Here are a few things to remember about EMP attacks. Guns and ammo are immune from EMP, and so are “hardened military equipment and weapons”.

But, smartphones and other communication devices the government uses to spy on people, computers which run companies and economies are venerable to an EMP attack. An EMP attack will blind the government from spying on the American people and shut down the economy in its tracks. The welfare checks and food stop come. The major cities, where the globalists whole much of their political power collapses first.

My response would be to get to my family’s ranch, where they have their own natural water source, and grow their own foods. If i couldn’t make it for some reason i would likely become a killer, because i have no tolerance for stupid people, doing stupid things to me, or around me.

    It’ll be a target-rich environment.

This is why I got into bushcraft and archery.

When SHTF, any scenario of SHTF that TPTB choose to initiate, the world will change. But for the most part if you know how to make fire and know how to put food on the table you’ll live like a king compared to the nit-wits out there.

I would recommend watching EVERY SINGLE Sigma 3 video on their youtube.

I, myself live in Detroit, and I was watching another video on YT, where someone said, “As soon as the lights go out, if you live in the city, GET OUT ASAP”.

For educated AA’s like myself, I wont stand a chance.

First thing? Re-polarize a generator with a fresh battery then work from there getting my old vehicles and motorcycle with no computers running again much the same way. That will secure mobility and water.

I’ve been seriously contemplating constructing a faraday cage to keep all of my electronics under in case of imminent dire straits. All 12 volt batteries will be stocked and fully charged.

I already believe we are past the point of no return fwiw. It’s just a matter of time.

Remember to have the generator for the Faraday cage inside the cage, with the exhaust piping to the generator going outside of the cage and out of the building.

Also, be careful not to start a fire with the Faraday cage.

Living in a rural area I am blessed to be able to practice subsistence agriculture, onions, cucumbers, squash, tomatoes, someday I hope to get a dairy cow (the only female you need) or some dairy goats and some chickens. Plus courtesy of all this canning and pickling are far from foreign to me (and tasty as well) On a similar note check out James Townsend and Sons on youtube, lots of low tech 17th century cooking recipies that could be very useful (and theres some low tech ye olde preservation videos too)

Won’t your personal electronic devices be the least of your worries? If it’s a nation wide strike, food supplies will quickly dwindle and most importantly, no water will be pumped to your home.

I have no idea what I would do first besides becoming very sad that there is no more electricity. However, my first thought would be water. There are several pits in my area, but I would have no idea which ones I could go to without being shot. Plenty of wood around me so I could cook food. Plenty of deer in the area, but other people would be hunting them as well. Probably couldn’t get away with shooting the neighbor’s cows.

The worst part about desperate survival is all the other desperate people out there wanting to survive. I guess the very first thing I’d do is load up and stash all the weapons and try to keep looking out for other people while I’m trying to survive.

Just remember, there are safes that are built to endure even a EMP, and optical media (CD/DVD) are a safe way to store your data in this scenario.

The Faraday cage as pointed by brother @GeneralKenobi is also a very good idea.

Besides that, this is a MGTOW dream, soon as starting going my own way, I let several modern things behind, smartphone is just an alarm clock and music player now, in a case of an event like this, I can survive without it. Television ? I don’t watch any. Games ? Yes, I play some, but won’t bother me if I don’t. Social networks ? My only online iteraction with other people that aren’t coworkers, is here. I’m not 100% technology free but, I can survive with little technology for some time. It would be like a vacation from the modern world.

I only care about hospitals and their medic equipment, for everything else, I don’t give a single s~~~ if it get damaged in an EMP attack. Besides that, I will prepare just with food, medicines, water, gasoline, tools, buy some books to have something to do and pass the time.

That’s right any vehicle from 1985 and before might work if you change the battery, also can start diesel ones by pushing them no battery needed.

    Old stuff is better.

To those following me, be careful, I just farted. Men those beans are killers.

Negative Hermit. I own a portable generator and have multiple power inverters powered by deep cycle batteries and/or vehicle batteries. It may be difficult to replace a freezer full of meat so if I can keep the generator protected I have food readily at hand. Water supply is already covered. Of course I’ll throw my laptop under there so I can watch dvd’s and saved stuff when not dodging bullets 😛

I’ll make a deal with ya’. I’ll bring all my guns and share my ammo with you, if you’ll share some food and water and let me watch some DVD’s. Whatta’ ya’ say?

I don’t spend much time thinking about doomsday s~~~ like this. The Elites are far too busy fleecing insane amounts of money from the masses to allow something catastrophic happen that would ruin their gravy train. Government is so huge (at least where I live) that if something did happen their be a never ending line of military trucks bringing food an water where it needed to go, as they would be highly incentivized to get the game of fleece the masses back on track has soon as possible.

If I had to leave where I am now because there was no food or water I would take to the hills with a .22 and a 9mm, hunt small game and watch society from a distance until s~~~ calmed down.

I don’t think NK is a serious EMP attack threat. NK is merely using these missile launches as a marketing PR strategy. It is effectively their 30 second superbowl commercial to arms dealers. I think if they attempted to mount nuke on one of them, Mattis would nuke the entire country before the nuke got within 200 yards of the launching pad. And NK knows that. They’re not stupid – that’s why they’ve been able to outmanuever every major superpower despite having third world economy.

For long term storage, use quality optical media (make multiple back-ups on various CDs/DVDs/Blu-Ray), and keep the media in plastic jewel cases, out of sunlight, in a dry, temperature controlled (around the 70’s F) environment.

Basically, keep the media in safe containers, in you home, out of the sunlight.

    Good advice there Faust!

    Thank you.

An EMP attack will have no effect on the beer taps at my favorite watering hole. Who cares if everything else falls apart? At least the beer will keep flowing. Let the rest of the world burn.
