I’m no theologian but I understand the basic doctrines and tenets of the faith—things which were regarded as eternally true. Well the pope/dope is at again. I could live with his hypocritical statements about guns, walls, illegal immigrants, mooslums etc because I get it–he’s left wing cultural marxist.

But the statements a few weeks back about there not being a hell and souls are not eternal they just disappear, was WAY over the line—this is blasphemous apostasy pure and simple and NOW we have the latest pronouncement; its OK to be gay—Sure its part of God’s plan that men f~~~ the asses of other men and try and fertilize s~~~…Think again assholes.

Pope Francis tells gay man ‘God made you like this and loves you like this’

I don’t know about you guys but I’m through, the catholic church is headed over a theological cliff and I’m going to wave bye bye. My bulls~~~ meter is full and can accept no more. My fellow Catholics on the site can obviously do as you wish but I would urge you to disassociate yourself from a profane and perverted church that no longer stands for anything but marxism, child diddling, lies, and irreverent BULL S~~~.

But but the Pope is infallible.

I am surprised there are any Catholics left after all the crap that has come out of his mouth.

Unbelievable that a man who lives behind walls tells us not to build one.

Our Evangelical, Pentecostal and Adventist MGTOW brothers will no doubt point to this last blasphemy as proof positive this is the “false pope” of scripture. I hate to say it but I think they are right.

I can’t understand why the church let’s this go. It is very clearly not a belief heald by Catholics. The ones I know have some very strong opinions about the after life.

Let’s just say you can feel when it is time to go.

We can just join the Church of Ron. At least that would be a good time.

Great episode. I just hope the Pope does not get any ideas about golden cows or something.

Although I think of Catholics as my brothers and sisters in Christ who are not responsible for what their hiarchy does or say, I never been a Catholic and never will be.
The Catholic Church has enough blasphemous symbols and blood on its hands to keep me away for good.

That being said, I do agree that there is no Hell and by Hell I mean a place of constant fire where people are tortured by demons ad infinitum.
    Ridiculous notion.

Now that doesn’t mean that I believe there will be no punishment, au contraire.
But the form this punishment takes isn’t as cruel as what the sick human mind could’ve come up with. After all, we serve a loving living god and even though His will and actions reverberated on Earth in the past seem cruel to us, they only demonstrate that there is an ultimate universal order, not to be transgressed, that even the Creator must respect.

Although I have seen “the other side”, what I would call an etheric world or dimension, or a fraction of it anyway – a place of tremendous beauty, peace and where everything that would be paralell to our world shines like gold, opals, rubies and sapphires, I can only guess at what that place of punishment could be.
Personally, I think that place isn’t a place but the absence of it, a void where the divine Lights and Sounds of the Almighty do not reach. Maybe the death of the soul’s energy itself, the infinite abyss where nothing can exist, not even energy.
    Nothiness

As far as the Pope, I think he’s as much a willing captive of the Elites as other heads of states and these Elites are themselves willing captives to the powers of Darkness that rule this world until the Owner returns.

Scripture states “God is Love” [1 John 4:8]. What does this mean?? What does “Love” look like functionally?? Do we believe that Jesus of Nazareth was, indeed, God’s Son — Immanuel — God With Us?? If so, then how would Jesus have treated a man caught in sodomy, instead of the woman caught in prostitution??

Wouldn’t He have also said, “…neither do I condemn you, go and sin no more.”??

All of humanity, since Adam and Eve’s fall have been infected with sin – selfishness, and have been in need of a healing remedy, not condemnation. Unremedied sin pays its own wage.

I strongly disagree with the pontiff, that God made gays gay. But He does love them and works tirelessly for their healing, and ours.

I actually grew up Catholic and my family is still very much Catholic. I’m not anymore.

I think the Catholic Church has always had problems dealing with the influential power it holds, it’s vast size, dealing with absolute values in world with ever changing values. They have a history of corruption, compromising values to stay relevant, and not make changes when needed in order to give the impression that nothing is really wrong.

As far as his statement on homosexually, I agree in the sense that God doesn’t make mistakes. However, that does not mean that emotions and desires justify actions. Just because you want to doesn’t make it right. We don’t get to do whatever we want without consequences.

    Ok. Then do it.

Does the pope read a different kind of bible than the Bible I’m used to reading?

The evil in women’s hearts leaves them no moral bounds as to inhibit them from descending to the lowest levels of darkness to acquire their self entitled desires.

Follow the money. The Catholic Church is no different. I was raised Catholic, but organized religion is nothing more than a business.

I disagree slightly. Condemn actions, not people. As well, the motivation of the person doing the condemnation is also very relative. Much of the time, it’s done so the person condemning feels better about themselves.

The reverse is also true. Why you choose not to condemn an action is also important. Is that what you believe? Do you not want to risk being judged yourself? Or, as it appears in this case, are you trying to market your church to a wider audience?

    Ok. Then do it.

The question of Homosexuality has ran in my mind for quite some time.
    God doesn’t make mistakes? Sure.
    But people do.

Yet, I could quote these verses…

They exchanged the truth about God for a lie, and worshiped and served created things rather than the Creator–who is forever praised.
Because of this, God gave them over to shameful lusts. Even their women exchanged natural sexual relations for unnatural ones.
In the same way the men also abandoned natural relations with women and were inflamed with lust for one another. Men committed shameful acts with other men, and received in themselves the due penalty for their error.
Furthermore, just as they did not think it worthwhile to retain the knowledge of God, so God gave them over to a depraved mind, so that they do what ought not to be done.

… while in the end, I would ask:
Who am I to judge for, I myself, too, am a miserable sinner!

For in the same way you judge others, you will be judged, and with the measure you use, it will be measured unto you.

One good thing from it. If they are correct, Jesus is coming back real soon.

I disagree slightly. Condemn actions, not people.

Actions [or behaviors] are the result of a state-of-being.

The man infected with tuberculosis has behaviors like coughing, night sweats, fever, etc., otherwise known as symptoms.

Does the physician condemn the behaviors or symptoms, or does he work to cure the disease and then the symptoms will be eradicated??

Humanity is in the same sick state.

    Adam and Eve:
    1. Believed a lie — God is not trustworthy.
    2. Ran and hid because they were afraid.
    3. Blamed someone other than themselves [Adam blamed Eve, and Eve blamed the serpent] and vicariously God Himself.

The selfish behaviors are down the cascade of events, and are an outworking of a sick mind and heart.

    There’s no hell.

The doctrine about eternal hell was created by the pagans, adopted by the church, and believed by the brainwashed fools.

It was created to put fear into peoples heart, and it did.
