Thank you for this. But the the IP is rather irrelevant. That’s what domain names are for.

    mgtow.com resolves at http://www.mgtow.com
    even http://mgtow.com resolves at https://www.mgtow.com

    even http://209.188.86.83/contact resolves at /contact

I don’t see how anyone can possibly arrive at any login page other than /login

In any case, we’re going to continue checking it out tomorrow.
    Thank you.

If you keep doing what you've always done... you're gonna keep getting what you always got.

just to eliminate another thing, I run Win 10 and Win 8.1 machines, as well as an Android phone, all 5 of my devices have the login information set to autofill, those fields are lit up in yellow, I hit the login button and I am in. I can use the site no problem, every button, every function works for me.

I talked to 7 other users on zoom yesterday, and they all have several devices ranging from Linux mint to win 10, win 8.1, MacOS, Iphone, Android, also using autofill, but can not get in. No one is running any exotic firewalls, no custom port settings, and their computers run perfectly. Some have tried VPN, that failed too. I had them do ipconfig /release, renew, flushdns, tracert, netstat. all of these things had the same results as my computer.

hmm port settings. port forwarding? some sort of public ip routing issue in the server? blacklist/whitelist issue? database corruption?

Sorry KM, I’m running out of talent here.
I do have some screen shots and some commentary from C-Pig. He works in IT and has a lot more server and pc experience than I do. I’m not sure how to get his screenshots to you. I would need an email address to send to you, I don’t want to put this up on the site. Does the contact page support cut and paste images and text?

not a group policy thing, not a domain controller failover problem, those are all or nothing issues. not a dns problem, not an ipv6 problem, not an isp blocking problem, we can ping you by name and number. We can’t find a pattern with member id numbers, join date, and we have run out of ideas.

    Good luck amigo.

It might be a poisoned DNS working its way through various DNS server caches.

It might be worthwhile for someone having trouble logging in to try setting a verified, independent server as their primary DNS (such as 8.8.8.8 – I just confirmed it’s pointing to the correct IP) instead of whatever DNS server their ISP is telling them to use, clear their local DNS cache, and try logging in again.
