Princess Leia is no longer a princess: shes a GENERAL

The Force Awakens is a fantasy, but it’s no fairy tale.

There are heroes, and monsters, a castle, and magic and machines that defy belief. There’s even a princess, although … nobody in the galaxy calls Leia that anymore.

“She’s referred to as General,” says director and co-writer J.J. Abrams. “

They just cant leave well enough alone.

    Resident cynic.

So she was demoted from royalty? lol. But seriously, I can already predict what the movie will be like. The ultimate heroes will be women. It will be a “Yeah, girl power! You go girl!” type of movie. Just more femme fatal bulls~~~ to make women think they are superior to men.

Maybe the dark side wins this time. Would be something fresh.

A “general”. Let’s write in a “strong woman” in a power position. YESSSS!!!!!!! Sayz da feminist!

Except there’s just one problem. The female “general” is seen sobbing in the arms of Han Solo – with a worried expression on her face.

Thank your personal God she’s not commander and chief of the squad YOU belong to before she starts giving you orders. Mel Gibson in Braveheart. That’s a “general”. Ed Harris in The Rock. That’s a “general”. Princess Leia crying while being comforted???? Mmmmmm no.

“General (Han) Solo” in Return of the Jedi didn’t need a f~~~ing HUG before the mission. Even before he was frozen in Carbonite, he didn’t get all soft. He stood up straight on his own. She desperately wanted him to know “i love you!!!!”. And with no fear, or worry he said “I know”. How mantastic is that. Now that’s a “general”.

Notice the two male characters blurred out in the background. Both standing there NOT saying the same thing: “WHAT THE F~~~? WHO PUT A WOMAN IN CHARGE???? SHE NEEDS HELP WITH HER OWN EMOTIONS!!! WHO THE F~~~ PROMOTED HER TO GENERAL???”

You can even tell what Han Solo is thinking “Thank Christ she’s not giving ME orders”.

If you keep doing what you've always done... you're gonna keep getting what you always got.

That thought crossed my mind, as well. With the book series being the ‘good timeline’. While this new movie series being the ‘bad timeline”.

Let us remember that during the prequel trilogy, Palpatine was leader of both the Republic and Separatists, under separate identities.

I would not be surprised if it is revealed the Leia is secretly the leader of the bad guys.

Luke turns out to secretly be the second in command bad guy, with the lightsaber broadsword.

And new the girl, with the staff, from Tatooine, turns out to be the reincarnation of Anakin/Vader. (I sure those making this new movie series want to find some place to fit in the transgender political correctness angle into their movie series.)

In which case, the nerd rage will be strong. And this will make this new movie series worse than some Star Wars fanfics I can name.

Now, if any of your want a good Star Wars story to entertain you. Look up the Heir to the Empire book trilogy. You will not regret reading those books.

I’m more of a Dark Side/Empire/CIS/Sith fan myself, so I’d like to see this happen. I’m a sucker for villain characters, because they’re bounds more interesting than the “good guys.” The only “good” characters I really liked that weren’t some “typical guy” were Han and Lando. I really hope Lando makes a return.

But seriously, the new character “Rey” looks like she might end up being the “heroine” of the entire saga, which would be REALLY obnoxious. Notice in the promotional poster that she’s DEAD IN CENTER of the picture. To me, that speaks volumes symbolically. She’s going to be the star, and I’m wondering if she’ll end up being the REAL one to bring balance to the Force as the prophecy predicted.

If she DOES as people are heavily predicting, then wouldn’t that make Anakin Skywalker/Darth Vader’s character a waste, since HE was supposed to be the one to do so (having gone from Jedi to Sith and back to “good” again, if you will…so he’s experienced both parts of the Force and defeated the Emperor who was supposedly the last remaining Sith Lord)?

Oh I’m going to see this one!
I’m gonna show up with my mp3, music in my ears from John Williams’ best cuts from the previews movies and just watch the action unfurl on the screen.

I’m already rooting for Kylo Ren and the First Order. If I can’t get behind the good guys in Star Wars film, that is a failure.

Since JJ Abrams haven’t been the best at making complex villains, I’m not going to hope for some actual nice villain lore and plots fly around.

I am looking at this movie, like it’s episode 2, however no doubt the action might be neat, but with a sure feminist s~~~ show of a plot to be rolling around in it, it can only be a face palm parade.

I’m gonna take my niece and my sister to it, just got done talking with her. We understand it’s for kids. The adults will go because the title says Star Wars. That’s all they need to know, they’ll enjoy it. I’ll report back with fresh reactions from two generations of human females.
I’ll still bring my mp3. At this point, I’m getting lost on who’s who in the Star Wars universe. All I want to see is crazy dogfighting and huge ass spaceships blowing up.

What I am concerned about is if that is the case then, the creators, might make it so Rey is a reincarnation of Anakin/Vader. Rey is even from Tatooine.

I did a little digging. What I found points in that possible direction. It seems that there have been rumor that JJ Abrams (director for the new Star Wars) has been in talks since 2012 (long before new Star Wars movie became production) with Paramount for a Legend of Korra

For those that don’t know, Legend of Korra is a animated series sequel to the Last Avatar animated series. Both series are good. Though, in Last Avatar, the main character was Aang, a teenage boy. While in Legend of Korra, the main character is Korra, a teenage girl, whom is the reincarnation of Aang. Though, to be fair, Korra is an interesting character. And both those series made it clear that such gender swapping reincarnations was common for the “avatar” of those two series.

So, JJ Abrams is very much aware of the concept of doing reincarnation and swapping genders.

And given Korra did so well in the market. The demographic customer base for the Korra series is the same as Star Wars (children and young teenagers. Those are the ones they are targeting with their marketing.)

JJ Abrams and the others producing might have decided take a page from Legend and Korra and reincarnated Anakin/Vader.

Also, Vader is the bread and butter character for the Star Wars franchise. Everyone knows Vader. It makes sense that those making the movies would want to bring Vader back in some way.

And reincarnation is the only way to bring Vader back in some way. The end of the ROTJ pretty clear he died, and his body cremated.

Time Travel will not work. Vader was a jerk all the way up, until about a hour before his death.

A clone is not going to work. And Anakin’s spirit would have to be willing. And so that will not be Vader.

So, it is pretty much reincarnation. And given PC influence, the new body is a girl.

With the creators of the new Star Wars movie justifying all this as a sort of “do over” for the “chosen one” with a gender twist.

I couldn’t find the video, but it reminds me of that scene from the Family Guy Return of the Jedi where Leia was giving strategy to the rebel pilots and when she said “any questions?” one of them responded “yeah could we talk to someone else, possibly a man?”

…the Emperor who was supposedly the last remaining Sith Lord

Ah yes… but we may have a Sith Lady, a much more evil and powerful master of the dark side. Innate skills, I’m sure. I mean, let’s be PC all the way, no? If you’re gonna have a girl as the main “good guy” why not the same for the “bad guys”?

The extent of their knowledge is what actors are in the movie and if they are hot.

The same goes for all comic book based movies.

The Children of Doom... Doom's Children. They told my lord the way to the Mountain of Power. They told him to throw down his sword and return to the Earth... Ha! Time enough for the Earth in the grave.

Female villains never work because the gynocentric audience won’t accept them as villains. For f~~~s sake, this is a society where women can literally kill their own children and people will make up excuses for why they’re heroes and shouldn’t be punished.

Every time I’ve seen someone try a female villain it just doesn’t work. Especially if it’s an attractive woman, forget it. If it’s an ugly woman, the screeching is also there but a little less pronounced, plus an ugly old woman being a main villain in an action film is probably even more laughable. It’s pretty stupid that a 100 lb woman can beat up guys twice her size effortlessly, but you add old on top of that and I think even the biggest mangina starts to think it stupid.
