I’ve kept hearing about this “kill a pregnant woman, guilty of two counts of murder” s~~~ and it struck me as so grotesquely unfair that I blocked it out of my mind. Then I googled it: Most states in the American Union consider it homicide.

Canada, mon pays, does not.

I feel like we, Canada, is this large ice cube, the only bastion of somewhat preserved sanity, and the rest of the world is the Artic f~~~ing Ocean.

Personally, I don’t care about abortion. The world has enough people. Western countries are going to s~~~. Most abortions are probably single moms. What futures are these kids going to have?

If abortion is legalized murder, why would I have a problem with it? Sure, I do feel if an innocent life gets slaughtered. But, hey, if that’s what people want, who am I to resist? All I can do is pray that they do not accrue enough karma to go to hell after they do the needful.

I agree with the uselessness of the abortion debate. For me, abortion is a way to rectify a mistake with the cost of a life. If the rectification is so essential that the sacrifice is necessary, then people go with it. Its the perspective that matters.

Pious people can never go forth with an abortion because of their beliefs. Selfish career-women do not care if they’re murdering a life or ‘curing’ themselves of a disease; its the same thing to them. Thank God I’m not a woman so it’ll never be my area to voice an opinion.
