Marvel Goes Full SJW In Films

Edit : On second thought, I’m giving up western media altogether.

So I’ve been watching Marvel for some time now. I know it went full on SJW in the comic books, but now it’s going full SJW in the movies and SJWs are going full fan girl mode on Scarlet Witch and Black Widow:

I may or may not end up continuing watching the series of movies Marvel puts out, because despite the SJW bulls~~~, these movies still look half way decent.

I also know that Scarlet Witch and Vision face off in the comics, but you can just feel that SJW smugness when Scarlet attacks Vision in the gif. I would’ve posted a scene for it, but I couldn’t find one.

Personally, I don’t think Marvel films are worth it anymore. I still might watch them for free online after they come onto Blu-Ray, but that’s it.

Definitely. The only exception I had were superhero movies. But, after seeing Batman V Superman and these trailers for the upcoming Marvel movie, I don’t think they’re worth it at all.

To be fair, I have no problems with the Black Widow kicking ass. The movies have long since established she is a badass. Also, she is not shown kicking everyone’s ass. She is shown to wisely run away from a upset Hulk. And she keeps her distance in brawls dealing with Iron Man and Thor. Instead, she works best behind the scenes in the non-superpowered street level situations. As seen at the end of Iron Man 2 filme, where she helps Tony out a lot behind the scenes.

In addition, Scarlett Johansson is a skilled actress. If Scarlett Johansson had not decided to have child during Phase 2 (MCU projects between Avengers I and Avengers II), we might have likely already seen a Black Widow movie come out. And Scarlet Johansson can carry a movie.

And if the new Ghost in the Shell movie, staring her, does well, we might still see that Black Widow.

Always, vote with your money. Eventually, they’ll quit making them SJW oriented unless they just don’t give a f~~~ about losing money.

Stick a fork in Marvel, because it’s finished just like Star Wars. Disney is a wrecking ball to any entertainment company they purchase. Oh well, they both had good runs.

I think it’s past time current anti-trust laws be enforced.

That’s true, but either way, I could sense the character in the movie as well as the actress that plays the character is a feminist. Even before I became MGTOW.

I definitely did. I’m finished with most media as it is. The main things I stick to now is a few Japanese comics/manga but even those types of media are getting boring to me.

@CP, you sure about Disney’s impact? From what I’ve seen, both Marvel and Star Wars has never been as profitable as they are now.

On Marvel, yes, they do oversell the women to an extent, but they also know that a feminist agenda can’t carry a movie. They have learned that lesson. I have a feeling that the new Ghostbusters is going to send a message to everyone in the industry. Star Wars may or may not heed that warning, as they are definitely riding the line.

Comics and Superheroes have always been SJW, most of them are influenced by the holocaust and Nazi’s one way or the other.

I don’t watch anything made after 2005, and even then I prefer films from the 40’s and 50’s.

We really have just hit the first waves of SJW themed movies. If that trend holds for the second one, then I’ll be more worried.

I watched a trailer someone posted here of one of those SJW influenced Star Wars movies. I’ve watched thousands of Star Wars light saber battles, and this one was the worst I’ve ever seen no intensity, period. I’m hoping the poor creativity inherent with propaganda will kill it.

Hopefully, a bunch of people just got fooled into dropping money based on the legacy of the franchises and will have learned.

I agree there. S.J. has played her characters as strong, but don’t need to preach about how strong they are. She has played her characters well. which is why she has been working steadily since 1994. Smart cookie.

Marvel amputated Thor, the most un-thorish thing Thor could have had done to himself, it’s feminism showing it’s hatred of men with the endless attempts to emasculate the male spirit.

Listen I have met some women into comics and such blah blah. But Its no wear I have felt the passion from men I have met who carry the philosophy of heroes and there interpretation in a beautiful fashion (they make comic the nerd more look like a comic prophet) – these gents get it and f~~~ sorry to say these characters are what they are and when they betray there fans (By f~~~ing gay re-inventions) like this. There’s more money in pandering to women. When they looked at the demographics, it turned out when they pandered to women then lots of women watched and the male audience was still just as much or greater as well.

When it’s something made for men, women consider it nerdy and won’t watch, so it’s only a small group of hardcore men. Artistically this stuff is the best, the same way video games once were and books in general were, but in our female-centric society this stuff is hard to find and doesn’t pay the bills.

I remember watching the first Thor and even that was laughably SJW to me. Some literal god pops up, and women are passing judgment on him and having to show him very simple things, because women are of course superior and men are helpless without them, even a god.

But even older stuff like LOTR, “I’m a woman so I can kill the Witch King! Hear me rowr!!” was pretty cringe worthy, and this was about 20 years ago now. The books are even older.

Women pretend they were oppressed, and having women be strong in media is some brand new thing, but Shakespeare’s Macbeth had a woman running things, and the ancient Greek myths had plenty of evil goddesses that caused no end of trouble and that men could do nothing about.

These works of fiction are usually rooted in gynocentry, especially in the collapsing part of society, which for some reason tends to preserve the most works of fiction. My guess is in the rising parts of society, people are too busy working and thinking and trying to advance in philosophy and the like to spend too much time on entertainment. When a culture becomes affluent that’s when all the entertainment and diversion come into play, and where things also get recorded and preserved.

I remember those as well. Thor was the worst. Especially the second Thor movie. It was extremely cringe worthy. They made Thor essentially into a PUA. Which I hated.

As for LOTR, I didn’t have that much of a problem with most of it except for scenes such as the ones you described.
