Logic vs. Feels.

I do a little volunteering with a local community group. Amongst other activities we tend bar for various local social occasions and donate the money we earn to local charities.

I tended bar this weekend as a Halloween social and seeing all the precious cupcakes in their slut costumes got my blood running. They were flirting with me, bending over so I could see their t~~~, hugging me and I even got a slap on the ass. Of course everyone is having fun and all the mangina’s are happily getting drunk with their special cupcakes.

It made me feel alone and I, if for even just a minute, wished for the company of a woman.

I went home feeling sad and wrestled with these thoughts in bed for several hours.

Then it hit me: I already dealt with this s~~~. I already decided that companionship with a woman was a waste of time, more than a waste, a f~~~ing travesty. I had to wrestle with my “feels” and use logic to overcome them.

Then it hit me… that is the difference: we have logic to override our “feels” and they don’t.

I am grateful to be a man and be able to mine my previous experience, draw logical conclusions from that experience and use it to moderate my behaviour towards future goals that I determine.

We didn’t ask to be men in this day and age but God I am glad for being one.

Yeah that was my point. I am on full monk mode and I almost slipped this last Saturday. I don’t know what these witches were up too but a gaggle of them kept calling me “Bill” (not my name) and invited me back to their place for an afterparty (Gangbang? LOL) but I declined. Just a few years ago I would have been all over that but I would have left that afterparty with blue b~~~~, or worse an STD or pregnancy scare.

yeah, that realization that to women logic is just some alien concept that can be used opportunistically and that logic falls way behind feels in their brains is pretty hard pill to digest.

This is why I do not go out. I stay away from bars. The Halloween slut outfits get any man’s blood hot. Follow the old saying “out of sight, out of mind.” I remove myself from temptation and Monk Mode is much easier. Glad you resisted the urge.
