I work in a typical open plan office and well, you can guess what kinds of people are around me.

Unfortunately this “open office” thing is a trend these days, it seems.

“Today, I wish to thank you all- your pride has made me humble; your ambition has quelled my discontents. In your presence, I was reminded of those great souls who sought solitude. In your absence, I was reminded of why those souls felt the need for solitude necessary.

No doubt, the full magnitude of our parting will only register in the weeks and months to come; as when injured nerves heal- we are often insensible to patiently regenerative forces stirring within us.

And, thanks to you, I’ve no doubt that the full force and magnitude of my transformation shall be breathtaking in its
    power and scope.

Thus, In closing, I am grateful for the gifts of insight and circumspection you have bestowed upon me; your indelible memory shall drive me ever onward.

    Enjoy the donuts.”

Outstanding! If I were a better man I’d love to pull this off.

I’m thinking about leaving my job too.

The day before your last day walk out the door tell everybody “See you tomorrow.”

Then don’t show up. Don’t respond to their phone calls, emails, texts or whatever. Never speak to anybody from there ever again. That’s my plan and I think its hilarious too.
