I used to work as a network tech at a data company and there is really is only 2 sure fire ways to know what you are doing on the internet… well at least what your computer is doing on the internet.

    1. Subpoena your ISP provider to log your data and where it goes, your ISP generally will not bother to log your data as it will take 100’s of GB to store that s~~~…. unless asked by law they will not do it, well mine does not anyway lol. A VPN will get around this as your ISP will just see VPN traffic and nothing else, also encryption is good for encrypting what kind of data is sent but it will still show where you are going…

    2. Hack either your LAN network or your direct computer to install network traffic loggers. These loggers will log essentially any network traffic that is going on and report back to a control server or some other transport.

1 will usually take a criminal case and or police involvement and 2 is against the law and will not hold up in court. So your ex is a lying hoser and or your ISP got hit with a Subpoena. If you are worried about being tracked use a well encrypted VPN service that does not log (big list here https://thatoneprivacysite.net/vpn-comparison-chart/ ) and Google chrome tracking blockers like Ghostery and Disconnect.

Knowledge is power..... Don't waste your brain on bullshit
