My ex-wife was a landwhale…I looked beyond it because I liked her personality….at least at first. Before I knew it I was getting fat, and getting s~~~ for it. This went on for years until I reached landwhale status. I left and made an appointment with my doctor, who told me I was at least 40 pounds overweight and I better get to dealing with it or it would be an early grave for me…..I did, and slowly but surely I am losing the weight and have never felt better. The combination of psychological torture and food abuse at the hands of my wife was massive and eventually overwhelming. I’m not saying it was all her fault (I had hands and a mouth, after all) but losing weight for a woman just eliminates one problem….Losing weight for a man addresses many problems, like raising self esteem and other attendant health issues. The fat acceptance movement is just a scam lazy people can hide behind……

I will admit that I genuinely find plus size women attractive and always have. But alas, they are just as stuck-up, manipulative, clingy, and mean as thin women.

That was a generic “you”. I wasn’t speaking of you specifically. I probably would of been better of saying “someone”. I was mainly speaking of feminists and SJWs, and those who join in the fat acceptance campaign, to try to change the world. Those individuals would be much better off accepting themselves, and not worry about the world. But, they don’t seem to be able to do. It is quite sad someone is like that.

Men can find a range of types of women attractive, and it depends on the man. Also, the social norm for attractive has changed over the centuries. The fat acceptance movement, however, operates under the assumption they can change the norms of what is attractive by their efforts alone. In short, shot enough at society, until it bends:

The thing is, women closer to the social norm for desirable will fight back, as no one wants to lose an edge they have. Such activist movements are a large degree of waste of time, but they press on, because they feel they can’t do anything until the world changes. Like, trying to drop weight or do other things to compensate, aren’t done on a personal level.

What I see with MGTOW is that it doesn’t follow this model, and the MGTOW way is to do things for yourself and don’t wait for the world to change.
