Here is a suggestion: Additional moderators whose sole purpose is to punt trolls. An agreement that additional mods would not weigh in on current established members’ trials and tribulations.

I like this idea, maybe their only function is to move garbage threads into litter box and KM does some site programming where litter box discussions are not shown anywhere in recent threads, top threads, latest posts, etc.

If mods are left undecided about that then the final judgment should go to KM on the best course of action. Sniffing out the tunas and trolls is usually straightforward, but I can see what you mean when we have newcomers or people who aren’t fully redpilled and their naivete on subjects seems suspicious to certain members so they get called out on that. In that case, they still have the right to say what they want but if they’re not willing to be open and learn the ways of mgtow and instead have some hidden agenda or want to use this platform to spout their nonsense then they should go. There’s really no place for them here. This site is called MGTOW for a reason.

It never works that cleanly in reality. And people will just start new threads in retaliation. You would really need the ability to bump people to visitor status, as KM does from time to time.

Again, I don’t think it’s needed, but if it does get done, it has to be someone who has the respect of the vast majority of posters. And they must remain neutral on any interpersonal agreements. KM also does this very well.

I’ve mentioned it a couple of times now but it always gets slammed. Site needs to be closed to non members, the idea that anyone can view posts without even being a member is a little disconcerting and also stops people posting more meaningful subject matter.

Posting restrictions for new members would also be good. Not to mention Keymaster needs support to process all the requests. I made a request a few months back which is still not actioned for example.

Would also be nice to have someone kill the threads that are nothing but slanging matches between members or personal attacks. Not very mature or what I would consider masculine.

I just got 3/4 of an inch of precipitation in a half hour!

Just as I shutdown the last computer and hard drive a tree destroyer lightning bolt struck not far from here, had that extra sonic boom that lets you know something has just exploded! The trolling/tunas probably won’t ever stop but if they don’t get any attention then their effect is minimal.

True but being a moderator / admin is not a part time job, it takes time and commitment. Posting on the forum is something that we all do on an occasional job, running an active social media platform is hard work that takes a full time presence.

“No f~~~s given” isn’t sustainable on a high numbers level. If all we are going to do is write “No f~~~s given” on every thread/post than why even have a forum?

The drama threads are more destructive than the Tuna’s and Trolls, in fact many of the trolls have been active members! It still needs moderation though or you just have people leaving or stop posting as it brings the tone of the site down.

It shouldn’t be a long one at all. Let’s keep things simple and limited I say. This forum has thrived until now because we eased down on crap like that and with admin/staff presence, trolling was kept to a minimum. Besides, aside from a few immature t~~~s that show up here and there, mgtowers know the boundaries here and don’t overstep them. Now, there are some members here who have made enemies but is it in our place to interfere in their affairs? Unless they’ve gone too far they can vent, and hopefully get on good terms after a while (time heals all wounds).

Like I said, mods are here to maintain order and balance. No need for a gestapo making sure everyone follows a whole list of rules.
