This is still one of my test records.

The YouTube copy is just a low quality knock-off. It misses by far the original dynamic range the 1976 LP had. I have the MFSL edition, bought in 1984.

The piano intro is in fact 20 dB below the rest of the song… And I always used my classmates as guinea-pigs when they berated me on the price and size of my stereo system. My Shure V15 MK4 phono pickup loved transients and no test record could throw it off.

The Speakers did 119.5 db/1m at 300 Watts and I always grinned when the piano intro hardly made the power meter needles move and they were already thinking that “it is loud”.
