I’m going get a vasectomy in two years. I hope a doctor will do it for a single man in his mid twenties, with no kids. I hope so! But, congrats on getting yours done. I look forward for mine!!

I’m 31 and even at my age, I really have no reason to get a vasectomy. Basically because I’m still a virgin.
The idea of inserting my manhood into a possibly-diseased woman’s smelly slop hole is NOT my idea of fun, and not something I’m up for trying. And I already avoid women like the plague, so not one of them can claim that I raped them without already getting eye rolls from everyone.
So I don’t feel like I need to get snipped when I’m already not going to have kids anyway, or eager to go out there and plow someone more than my city’s snow removal services. When someone like me has no interest in sex anyway, there’s no reason to get snipped.

    Be smart. Don’t start.

Good job my man. One less trap that can close on you.

Wow. Nice to see so many men did the deed. I’m middle aged and have thought about it. I thought about waiting for Vasalgel. Wife is premenopausal. But I like the comfort shooting blanks gives, especially since both my grandfathers were siring kids well into their 50s. Was planning to speak with my doc about it soon. I have two great kids and they’re more than halfway to adulthood. Don’t want anymore for sure.

One issue I heard about was a dull ache which never goes away. There is no cure, it’s not really understood but you have to live with it – this is what put me off BUT it is very rare. The vast majority have no issues but as with any medical procedure nothing is guaranteed. I know someone that got it done at 42 and he was in work shortly after – walked like John Wayne for a few hours but he was fine – no problems at all. He has never looked back.

I’m feeling much better btw! I’ve been chilling as f~~~ for the last couple of days, just rejoicing in the fact that I will have TONS more freedom in either time or money or BOTH as a result of the vasectomy. Will take another personal day today, chill, watch some random shows and get back to work and music practice tomorrow!
