Just came back from the clinic.
Was over in 20 minutes, didn’t feel any pain during the procedure. Felt like going to the dentist, really, the only exception being that the dentist touches your b~~~~… Yeah… Ehm.

Anyway, if you’re on the fence as to whether or not to do it, there is nothing to be afraid of.
However, if you’re young like me (I’m 27), they might give you a weird look and ask you some personal questions. Just smile, say “none of your business” and don’t look down during the procedure if you’re bad with blood like me. I just kept looking at the ceiling and listening to the radio.

Here’s to a great 2017 with plenty of opportunities – but NO opportunities for pregnancy-scares or cuckholding for me! WOHO! 🙂

That’s a good age to get snipped. I was snipped at 30 after two kids I was done. You’re not out of the woods yet though now if you want to go out and hit it and quit it you gotta figure out how to get away without a false rape accusation. That’s the biggest problem I see if they can’t get you with the pregnancy real or imagined they’re going to try to get you with a legal charge be careful my friend and congratulations on your nuts separation

Thanks, bro! I’ll definitely be careful about the false rape accusations. I really don’t really have sex anymore, but I just wanted to get the vasectomy done just in case my lizard brain gets the better of me sometime down the road!

Oh you are so much better off for what you have done. Because now you are thinking with all of your mind. If you meet some girl and your lizard brain kicks in you could be f~~~ed except that you’re not pitching any seeds beautiful. I got mine done in 1989 never look back never had any regret life has been challenging but easier then it would have been. I’ve never had any ill effects in over 30 years

That’s reassuring – thanks! Hopefully the recovery will be smooth and quick, and I know I won’t regret this. I’m just really happy I went on to do this, and I’m celebrating with a pizza right now, haha!

Congrats! Had mine done in 2015. More men should take responsibility such as you did because let’s face it – we are human and it’s often hard to fight instinct. A little pain but much to gain!

Twist – I’ve got a bag of frozen peas in the freezer ready to go if needed, thanks! But currently I’m good on Paralgin Forte painkillers! Feeling a bit tipsy actually, in the good way, haha!

It is a great feeling knowing you cannot be trapped. And, if you believe in environmental issues, you can tell the “ladies” that you have an eco-safe-penis. if you tell them anything. Snicker

    Good job

The most important thing you can do is ask yourself, what do I really want out of life. Really think about it, and always be true to yourself. Then Do it.

Nice dude. I got mine one year ago when I was 22. The pain will go away in a few days. You will always feel those wires in your nutsack btw, but it is worth it.

Be sure to do all the sperm samples so you know for sure that the surgery was successful. It will also be physical evidence that proves you’re sterile in case a woman tries to trap you.

    Cheers!

    Congrats Bro
Got mine at 28. In those days, cica 1980, you had to have kids before the doctors would do it.
Another advantage is that if you get involved in the future and you tell the prospective lil cupcake and she goes ballistic then you know that she only wanted a kid from you so she could get child support. Another bullet dodged

Congrats. I got mine at 26. 47 now, Never even thought about having kids again. Back when I did it I played hell trying to find a doc who would do it. They all said “you will want more kids” Are you kidding me!!! After the hell I went through there is no way. If I really wanted a child I would adopt but never crossed my mind.

Congrats. Be sure to get plenty of rest, even if you feel up to it.

I had a little complication with mine. Without getting into too many details, I needed to get an antibiotic….which cleared up the issue no problem.

As far as watching the surgery, I somewhat enjoyed that. I was conversing with the Doc throughout the whole time. Had to be careful because he made me laugh a few times, which caused me to move involuntarily.

    Ok. Then do it.

I got mine in 1990 and never regretted it. It’s one of the best decisions I ever made.

Good on you, man. Got mine done 19 years ago and never looked back.

If you do happen to discuss it with someone and they ask why you did it just tell them “Producing a child is the most ecologically destructive thing a person can do. Plus we’re overstocked… the warehouse is full. Ordering new inventory at this point is just going to make the problem a whole lot worse.”

Congrats. Since my divorce, I have been considering the snip. Now 37, single and 1 child – I am satisfied with my lot. Definitely no more kids.

I was worried about the procedure but this thread has made my mind up.

Anyone had this done in their late 40s? Issues? Complications?
