I don’t consider myself a Republican, but one of the disconcerting things about the MGTOW movement is I keep hearing (or reading) people in the MGTOW movement referring to conservatives as “right wing nuts” or talking about anyone that is not on the left is a pejorative.

MGOW, by it’s very nature is about self-accountability, self-responsibility and ironically, notions like “the women’s movement” are “LIBERAL” movements; and the women’s movements are social movements towards socialism, by nature….

I am not saying vote Republican, because if I were to label myself I am some sort of “Libertarian”. However, I think it is important that a MGTOW man be educated in his own philosophy and understand the basics. Most Americans don’t understand politics, they just see what is said on TV, or (in the case of women) women’s shows, like “The View”, and they soak that up as their philosophy. And so we are on an endless downward spiral of trying to FIX problems with bigger and bigger government, higher taxes, more and more to the LEFT…. And the more left we go, philosophically, the more people on right seem to look farther “right” to us.

Crony Capitalism is NOT Free Market Capitalism… and Free Market Capitalism is the ideal matching polito-economic philosophy  for MGTOWs, and is what the “conservatives” are actually suppose to be “conserving”.

“Liberals” and the media spew out propaganda that they are “democratic”, “fair”, “for equality”, and will tell you they want to help the poor or help “the children”… which is why the women’s movement and women’s votes are squarely planted in the “liberal” camp. This is how all the unfair divorce and social legislation against MGTOW is created…. THE LEFT.

I’m not saying vote Republican…. I’m just saying open up your mind to some knowledge, damn it! “Going Your Own Way” is philosophically anathema to American Liberalism.

(Note: they even stole the term “liberal” to sound more in favor of your “liberty”…. They did this because during the Civil War the Democrats were opposed to freeing slaves, and in the 20th century they had to change their image to the “party of the people” to get into power…. Get it?!…. They are full of s~~~…. Oh, and Obama is a “man-gina”, willing to “progressively” give women more and more power over you.)

I’m a party of one! I have no legitimate form of government. When men violate the law, we have the law; when the law violates the law, we have men. (Billy Jack) or words to that effect. I do not affiliate, or lend affirmation to men dressed as the law while being in violation of the law! Present day America: Ruined by law! The ground is poisoned and no longer conducive to the principles of freedom, and free market!

A woman says “I don’t feel safe”, a swat team arrives!

A man says “I don’t feel safe”, he moves to an armed community of like minded persons, and aims his weapon outward, toward the threat, achieving his form of safety .

Most people are center, politically, rather than left. I don’t tend to lean either way, as there are idiots on both sides.

We have a saying here in Australia, ALL politicians are criminals, don’t vote for any of them – why encourage them?

having said that, voting is mandatory here, so you get fined for not voting.

There’s a saying from the old 1986 movie, “Brewster’s Millions” that I live by.

Vote for “None of The Above”! They’re all idiots!!!

What MGTOW doesn’t like are some of the traditional values, that a man is judged based on his wife and kids. I have a serious problem with a lot of traditional values though I consider myself a republican. I’m deeply conservative. I don’t like how the GOP caters to corporations. I understand the effects but the consequences are disastrous. It makes no sense to privilege a crummy business over another. That stagnates the economy.

Liberalism is just garbage. I used to be a moderate, but I went full conservative after I got a business degree.

I was a libertarian way before I came to these forums. I already know about the horror the state has inflicted on minorities by herding them into their role as a dependent underclass. The same thing has been done  with women.

If you think about it, if there were NO state, or at least NO government marriages there would be less of a need for MGTOW and men’s rights. I can deal with whiny and sometimes entitled women. I can’t deal with them when their wealth extraction schemes are backed up by the armies of men with guns who want to throw you in a cage for protesting.

I agree with the title of this forum. I want to add “any totalitarian state.” The world is full of men and women who want me to sacrifice myself for their convenience. Going my own way is the exact opposite of what they want, and they will force me to obey if they can figure out how. Thus, democracies and republics degenerate over time into centrally controlled police states be they communist, fascist, or feudal — I might have left out a few; what is important is an elite few using govt power to coerce the many.

My beliefs make a libertarian too. (Somewhat to my surprise.) I’m the despair of my friends who adhere to left or right wing politicians. I see them as playing on different squads of the same team while their coach calls the plays.

    Today’s “right” was yesterday’s “left”.

Today’s left is the 30’s totalitarian state.

So true! For only one example, President Kennedy would be a rock-ribbed conservative by today’s standards. He was at the height of liberal thought in his day, and he is a martyred saint of the liberal movement. Now days, Republicans would brand him a right wing extremest.

This I gather from his writings and public speeches. I have no idea what was going on behind closed doors. But I doubt he had any sympathy for what today’s political parties think are good ideas.

Conservative is just a political catch phrase, it really does not stand for anything at all.  If you turn on the “conservative” fox news or the radio with figures such as Glenn Beck or Sean Hannity, half the time they are spewing feminist doctrine in one form or another.  I do not agree with Islam, but half of the criticisms they give are related to Islam’s lack of feminist ideology.  The right backs up feminism, just as much, but in a different respect than the left.  It is not that the left promotes feminism more, it just does it differently.

The left is for manginas and effeminate men.  The right is for white knights.

My point is that there is no “good” political party anymore.  It is just bad guy vs bad guy, in one form or another.

So to answer the thread question:  To put is briefly, it is a yes.  However the right is also the enemy too.

About a year ago I got a gig filming and recording a far-left “think-tank”. Within the month I filmed another gig, this time a far-right religious conference. While editing I came very close to muddling the two up because THERE WAS NO DIFFERENCE. The ultra lefts believed the same conspiracy theories, held the same thoughts and were demanding the same practices as those on the ultra right. If you go far enough to the left you’re going to meet up with those who went too far to the right and vice versa. It’s just a big old circle …

Socialism, collectivism,  feminism and environmentalism are all driven primarily by feminine aesthetics. Individualism, capitalism, libertarianism, techno-philia (need a better term) are driven primarily by masculine aesthetics. Go figure.

The first one is passive and so conservative and when actually practiced leads to decay. The second is action oriented, leads to change and progress (eventually)

Heard a quote from a friend of mine

“Extremists are like that. Go far enough to the left and you start meeting the same idiots around the back, coming in from the right”

Applies to all of them..left or right.

My politics and political philosophy: I’m a fascist, and proud of it. If I had time/space to elaborate I might not be thought of so negatively, but that’s where I stand.

Center-Left or Center-Right are not really the enemy, its the extreme left or extreme right who are a problem for everyone.

Some things on the left are good ideas and some things on the right are good ideas, if you hover somewhere around the middle or slightly to one side then there isn’t really an issue both points have good ideas generally.

Center-left you might have some more government regulation which isn’t always a bad thing ASSUMING its thought out, center-right they want smaller and less intrusive government, which again can be alright assuming you do it properly otherwise you open yourself up for some issues for people who want to take advantage of the system.

Extreme left and extreme right, no good you start talking wars with your own people and other nations, they are huge and nasty changes.

Which is worrying because have a look at Europe at the moment and they’ve got an extreme-right resurgance at the moment political wise, last time that s~~~ happened we had a world war.
