Wow haha seems that I have struck a nerve. I live in a small town and they are volunteers. Good for them. I don’t give a s~~~. The first instance I didn’t call the paramedics. My mom has had seizures her whole life and the town should know that. I get fed up with s~~~ after a while. I was tired and not in the mood. I saw it as the same thing as a police man barging in. I didn’t so much yell at them. I told them that mom was fine and I didn’t like them barging in and I wanted them to leave. I realize that I was an asshole. I gave them a second chance when I called them. What I got was “durrr I don’t feel anything”. When mom had a bump on her head the size of a f~~~ing mountain.

I wasn’t aware that all paramedics are f~~~ing saints and can never do any wrong. It must be taboo to judge or criticize them in any way.

I am not sure exactly why my mom doesn’t like them, but I think it is because they have laughed at her before and not taken her seriously.

The whole hospital in my county is terrible and has horrible reviews online. They once released my mom with an iv need still in her arm.

I generally hate paramedics and I started out with them. It’s worse than you realize.
Im a physician and when I truly came to hate them was when I worked in a clinic that was separate from a hospital. We would need them to transport a patient to the ER if things were worse than they appeared on walk-in. I’d call, they’d arrive. And take over. I mean, completely take over. As if I didn’t exist. They ALWAYS refused to listen to my description of what was going on. Would act like they were physicians and capable of diagnosis. Told patients in front of me things that were BS and flat out wrong. It got so bad, I refused to give them a report. I’d walk by slap the copy of the chart on their chest and walk off each time. And not once after I changed my interaction from respectful case presentation to the “here you go you dumb f~~~” and walk off, did they once change anything they did. No questions, nothing. Contempt from beginning to end.

As a patient on the receiving end of their care more than once, Im terrified. But then again the entire feminist nursing dominated/destroyed medical field terrifies me now. Old age scares me because at some point, I will be subjected to the army of feminist idiots with no way to defend myself.

May we all die quietly, in peace, and invisible to the system when our time comes my friends……..

PS Sorry you are an ass for yelling at them for barging in…but I understand your reflex to protect your space as well…..
