Issues with paramedics

I’ve heard that lots of people have had negative experiences with paramedics.

My mom has epilepsy and she has had many experiences with them and hates them. I have become not so fond of them myself.

One time mom had a seizure outside and someone called them. She came back inside and passed out. I was asleep. I woke up and heard the paramedics open the door and call her name and then barge in. I understand that they were just doing their job but it p~~~ed me off and I chewed them out for barging in. Lol

Another time I called them because my mom fell and hit her head there was a goose egg on her head and it worried me. The paramedics came and felt her head and said they didn’t feel a bump. Are they kidding me? It was large as hell. Finally said they felt it.

These people just know how to check blood pressure and heart beat and that’s about it. They will hire anyone off the streets apparently. F~~~ing useless.

They need to just bardge in.
If someones down they cant anwser the door.

They dont know what they have till they get there.

Every seconds count.

Their objective is to stableize the patient, till they can get them to the hospital

When Im rideing my Bike and theres an Ambulance next to me, I blow them a kiss. They know what I mean.

EMT’s don’t get paid high roller dollars either. And they actually do save quite a few lives these days, because they administer Narcan to opioid OD’ers on a constant basis.

Basically all these people get is first aid training. The course has become so watered down it’s pathetic. I need first aid for my job, and the entire course is “do nothing you dummy. Wait for the pros to arrive”. It’s a course on how to call 911.

Depends on where you live how much training they get, and the extend of their education. Level one trauma hospitals usually have extensive training for their medics. If you get someone from a private company, their folks get basic training only.

Also, you get a medic that was trained in the military and served in a battle zone…….there isn’t anyone better for immediate stabilization and even some minor surgery procedures. You want those bad asses showing up if your cut and bleeding or have some extremity f~~~ed up.

How can a woman be expected to be happy with a man who insists on treating her as if she were a perfectly normal human being.

Paramedics are like the red cross on the battlefield . I hate f~~~in arseholes that attack these people as there is an increase in attacks . Ambos and paramedics are the meat in the sandwich .
