I think if you’re a father and you have a daughter, you would think porn is toxic because what father wants his little girl to say hey dad i’m a porn star! not many.

But if you don’t have a daughter and have got MGTOW but still need to scratch that itch, why not watch porn. It’s healthy for a man to continue to get that release with or without a woman involved. What’s the difference watching porn or running through a memory of a hot chick you saw and want to screw or think about past conquests. Is porn “toxic” to the body? No, there are no nasty chemical involved.

But is porn “toxic” to our mind? It might be, like any other addictive behaviour.

The problem with porn is that we have natural drugs called endorphins that are released to promote necessary biological needs like reproduction.

These drugs make a man go against his best interests because of sexual neediness.

But if this natural reaction is unnaturally stimulated by porn, then we have an artificial high, just like a opiate drug.

Now, just like any opiate abuse, the brain compensates by becoming less sensitive to the endorphin, or reducing the reaction to a visual stimulation: this is called “habituation”.

In order to maintain the previous high the man now needs to find something else, something different.

And down the rabbit hole we go.

What starts as plain heterosexual sex leads to deviations of all sorts.

If a men ends up unable to be excited by normal heterosexual sex, and needs to look at lesbians, BDSM, DPs, or… Then I say he has a problem.

There is obviously an opportunity in every destructive behaviour.

In this case a man can very much start to be disenchanted with the mechanical nature of the sexual act itself.

And if he notices the obvious artificiallity of the porn movies, then he gets even further disenchanted.
