In sociology class today, i was berated roughly by half a dozen angry beeches including the teacher for pointing out that the reason that the media pinned the london riots on young black males, is because it was carried out predominantly by young black males.
Apparently pointing out facts is racist, and it seems to be mainly women whom fall for this garbage, my mates all concur the same as me.
My teacher was trying to convince me that somehow it was a reflection of unfair inequality brought upon them by the white man, and they were justified in doing so
I can’t say i was surprised that the nit wits in my class lapped all this nonsense up, but i was looking around at them taking notes, it was like drooling dogs in capable of any critical thinking whatsoever.
I say bravo to the police whom killed the criminal who was holding an illegal weapon and resisting arrest, that is the police’s job.
My teacher went on to say that if it was a white man, it would have been handled by the police officer differently.
In my opinion, if a white man had been shot by any police officer, while holding an illegal firearm, nobody would give a f~~~, because it needed to be done to protect citizensWhereas a non white criminal is killed by the police its because he’s black. Not because he was a criminal resisting arrest posing a threat to the police and community…
The level of white guilt or just plain stupidity to accept this bulls~~~ must be off the Richter scale

Liberalism is highly emotion-based. It panders to whatever “feels good” to the people under the guise of “equality” or “inclusion.” This is why we in the U.S. have the horrid president we have today. “Vote for him, or you’re a racist!” Minorities voted for him in droves, and guilt-tripped white people into voting for him as well. With Hillary Clinton, it will be the same, except replace “racist” with “misogynist.” It’s why the right is now pushing the likes of Ben Carson and Carly Fiorina. I KNOW that’s why they’re winning now. I don’t have much against Carson (a few disagreements though), but Fiorina has no reason to be in the top 5 in some polls except that she’s a woman.
Stick to your guns. You took the rational approach given all available evidence, theirs was an emotional response based on programming and a desire to fit into the consensus groupthink. Don’t even try and defend yourself against it (you can’t win, they’re too far gone and don’t know how to think properly), but continue to build your critical thinking skills for your own benefit. It’s not your problem. it’s theirs.
Look at it this way: Sociology class actually taught you something valuable today, although it wasn’t the intended lesson.
Here’s another lesson: read about the Prussian education system. You’ll realise why your school is a f~~~ing waste of time, and why critical thought is not promoted. Why doesn’t Rhetoric appear on the syllabus anymore? Imagine a generation being brought up immune to the bulls~~~ spouted by politicians and marketing departments…
Knowledge is your only defence against constant manipulation in this society. Don’t worry about all of the other morons out there, worry about you. You can’t cure stupid, don’t even waste your limited time and energy trying.

Schools the way they are, simply attract dysfunctional people (as in the staff)
Teachers take opposing views and opinions as personal attacks on their very being, you cannot challenge them on anything in the likes of history, or sociology.

Teachers really are in competent, can’t control anyone, school is over-run with non-english anyway, such a hopeless placei find it ironic that on the wall of my history class theres a quote from george orwell saying “he who controls the past, controls the future, he who controls the present, controls the past”
I said to my teacher “isn’t that ironic, this being a history class in a state school?” and he looked at me with a blank face, like i was asking him if pigs had been on the moon
@op – I agree with you man…its a f~~~ing joke. We have that black lives matter crap going on…if you say bulls~~~, all lives matter, they call you racist., even though the overwhelming majority of black murders are at the hands of other black people yet they do not speak out about a single one of these…but if a white cop shoots an armed black man, a black man charging at him, or assaulting him…its the end of the world.
They really need to start making all cops wear body cameras while on duty. I fully understand sometimes cops f~~~ up, and when they do they should be held accountable…yet so many of these cases that make the news that are causing riots and protests recently where the cops end up being justified could have been over in done with in a day if video was available.
The whole issue just goes along with the liberal narrative that we are all victims and nobody ever has any personal accountability, and when you do get a successful black man saying get over it, you are your own worst enemies to other blacks, they just label him an uncle Tom, a sellout, a white mans lapdog, etc. I know speaking from personal experience I grew up in a middle class area…relatively low crime with people of all colors, and over the years I have seen some of them turn into giant s~~~ bags and some of them turn into massive successes. It blows my mind how some of the non-white failures will turn towards “racism” as being the reason for their life failures…yet they went to the same public school system I did growing up, and went to the same community and state colleges that I did after high school. Apparently its white privilege that I spent most of my college years working 2 part time jobs or a full time job to pay my way through while they were out drugging up and getting in trouble. I’m still waiting for one of those losers to explain to me how it didn’t hold back other non-white people in our town from becoming successful, or how some of the white people ended up losers as well if the world is handed to whites on a silver platter.
The only real advantage I had in life was that I grew up in a 2 parent household with parent’s who set a good example for having a good work ethic, working had, being responsible, and living within my means…and ironically what are things feminism and liberalism despise…traditional 2 parent households, hard work, and being self sufficient without the government holding your hand.

When men think like this, i almost spewnot exactly but it does appeal to more emotions then facts. for example “everyone should have healthcare” that sounds like something that would come from a women because is a utopian view. a man would try to increase the amount of doctors in the country and understand the limitations. but Limitations in the eyes of most women just means your heartless.
I am a black male and a democrat. I have had sex with one female and had some relationships with women but don’t believe in long term relationships like all of you should. Women are just a pain to deal with beyond sex.
I can’t comment on the black males rioting in the u.k , because being an American with things to do, I never really paid much attention to it. However, I don’t want to see Europe become too non white. I think that its good the way it is now, but I believe that Europeans have the right to preserve their own culture, However, I think that the u.s was meant to be a melting pot, and I enjoy the diversity in this country, and a little bit of diversity makes things interesting .
I am a democrat because I think that universal healthcare and a higher minimum wage will benefit the USA. I don’t support feminism at all, and would not vote for a feminist such as Hillary Clinton, nor do I support affirmative action or gender equality legislature b.s. . I vote democrat because I don’t care if gays get married , and think there needs to be some background checks/logical solutions to the gun problem. The biggest reason is economic reasons . I am a firm believer in increasing the minimum wage (not that I plan to live on it, but as a college student working minimum wage, it is too low, and feel sorry for those who have to live on it) and believe in universal healthcare. I believe the rich and middle class are taxed enough though. I am a big supporter of Sanders.
liberalism is not limited to women ..men can be liberals lgbt ,ethnic minorities ..liberalism tends to SERVE them..at whose expense ? i too feel europe has not only every right to preserve it’s ethnic make up , it has a DUTY to do so ! as africa has a DUTY to preserve its identity ..here in the u.s. THIS is the melting pot ..bring it all, i live in nyc WE GOT EVERYONE and it actually works ..it’s NOT going to work on a GLOBAL scale ..it will result in CATASTROPHE !

We already have background checks and restrictions. In fact, its the liberal run cities (Chicago) who have THE strictest gun laws, but more violence than any other city.
The only people who will be affected by more gun laws, are law abiding citizens. Criminals break the law; thats what they do

I also dont believe Im born with a claim on the fruits of someone elses labor (i.e. a doctor sacrifice s 8+ years of his life in medschool, but we all get free healthcare; well – just because it feels good.

Good read that, but I didn’t see anything about the reason it happened. I’d say (based on Chomsky) that the main reason state schools were brought in, despite high literacy rates in urban areas like Boston, was because literacy rates in rural areas was lower. You don’t need to be able to read and write to work on a farm, when your dad is teaching you everything you need to know every day of your life. But you do need to be able to read to efficiently operate the new-fangled machinery that was being brought in at the time. This was part of the movement of populations from rural areas into factories during industrialisation. Why have happy self-sufficient farmers when you can have wage-slaves?
Re the OP – I don’t see it as zero-sum. OP is quite correct, and not at all racist, to point out it is black males rioting when it is black males rioting, The very fact that the teacher was defending their actions means she is acknowledging that yes, it was young black males.
That doesn’t change the fact that white privilege, like female privilege, is a reality. A white guy pulled over by the police gets a ticket. A black guy gets a ticket, maybe a search, maybe a night in a lockup without formal charges, and maybe a bullet if he doesn’t keep his hands in sight at all time.

Our life expediency is lower than most other developed countries as well. Countries with universal healthcare spend less than us and get better results.

Forgive me if I dont trust this swine with my healthcare.Obama care is okay, but its not universal healthcare. I would prefer universal healthcare, not Obamacare. Thats why I support Sanders for 16.

Sanders had no problem with a 90% tax on the uber wealthy. These are the job creators. Think about it: would you continue to create wealth if you only retained 10 cents on the dollar you earned? The wealthy, business owners, simply pass the cost along to the consumers. But if its at rates that high, why bother doing business?
I get it – your young and in a liberal college so of course your indoctrinated. When I was in your shoes I didnt wear a socialist hat, however. Sanders is a sovialist. There are PLENTY of socialist countries out there. When young people want to bring socialism to America, I ask – why dont you simply go to a socialist country? Thats not what this country was founded on. I dont here of any Americans fleeing to socialist states because of so much oppurtunity. I do see many trying to come here though.
