Those variables play a role but to understand it better, it’s really less of a “moral” issue, and more of a LEGAL issue (where women are concerned).

Both interesting and troubling at the same time. For better or worse, it seems we’re popping up on more and more radars.

I spent a half hour or so poking around the site and got a definite tradcon vibe. In an odd slip, McCain writes “MGTOW.com” – this site – but is actually referring to something posted at the “MGTOWHQ.com” site. McCain also links to Kay Hymowitz’ five year old article calling MGTOWs immature. Two head scratching moments there from a man supposedly looking at this as just “a matter of sociology”.

The comments under the McCain’s post asking MGTOWs to fill out his poll don’t engender my confidence either. Like the post, most comments showed the usual incomprehension with MGTOW being referred to a movement instead of a philosophy. There were the expected comments from women, several of which immediately characterized MGTOWs as either being immature or having been hurt. There was also a convoluted reply chain featuring one of the Biblical quotation dick sizing contests tradcons love so much.

What’s your take on it, Jan? You have a good feel for these sorts of things. Is it worth giving McCain a little insight? Or should we just send along the usual Empty Chair ?

My head and gut say to ignore the request. Tradcons may dislike feminism as much as we do but, seeing as how they believe the egg can be unscrambled, their worldview is entirely unrealistic.

As a man of science, a researcher, and a professional, I can honestly say that I don’t give two f~~~ing s~~~s what they want to discover. No offence to the OP.

That ship has long since sailed. I am gone from the plantation and don’t want to return under any circumstances. I don’t want to fix the dynamic between men and women. If it all comes crashing down I will help rebuild, only because it serves my interests.
