Companies have always sold our data. Now that people are aware of that fact, they are suddenly becoming “hacked”. It is just business as usual, the companies selling your data, but they claim “hack” because lets face it, most people are not educated enough to know the difference.

How were people susceptible to being hacked, prior to cell phones, in as pervasive a manner as we now are? Doesnt seem feasible, as they now have much more access.

    Resident cynic.

Digital fingerprint is yet another reason to go MGTOW. I don’t give a f~~~ and refuse to live in fear of these control freaks. We just need to figure out creative ways to use their technology against them.

I just bought a 1988 model used car that will not spy on me and has a freshly rebuilt 302 and transmission. Concerned about the power crazed freaks listening to you on your mobile phone’s mike with remote activation just keep the phone’s mike right next to a radio speaker. It does not have to even be very loud to overwhelm everything said in a room.

You’d freak on how sensitive cell phone mikes are. I’ve done tests, and it’s scary.

My digital fingerprint is from the middle finger! I canceled my Google account after exploring it thoroughly, every thing I did, RECORDED! every search, every page, RECORDED! Privacy is a myth!

I know nothing about “smart phones” and do not trust them. They came around during our age of “acceptance” so they are not trustworthy. Besides if I can’t build it myself I don’t know what is inside or how the OS works or…
I didn’t mean to imply people were more susceptible to being hacked then as to now. What I’m saying is the transfer of data from the collectors to the buyers is still going on, just as before when people knew nothing about it, but now that people are aware of this having taken place before, we get to hear about collectors being hacked now. It can then be blamed on anyone, doesn’t really matter because who among us can really find out the facts? That is why I am of the opinion it is business as usual, with the added advantage of a built in Fear Manipulator. Data is still being bought and sold, just a s~~~ ton more of it.

I never use Google directly anymore. I use Startpage.com which uses the search capabilities of Google but through startpage which does not record your IP address.
