Just set your boundaries in stone.
1. Friends wanting loans or free cash and prizes from you? Lay out the conditions and the due date pay it by then, if they don’t? never loan/gift a dime to them again.
2. Friends and their GF’s trying to set you up? Be up front if you don’t want it to happen stop it dead at the first hint of one of them trying it.
I have some pretty awesome friends, they tell women outright to go talk to me about it. They know better than to play cupid where I am concerned.
3. If they cant or won accept responsibility for their “life” choices, file 13 them. You have no responsibilities to fix the messes they made.
Assistance is one thing, assuming their chosen burden is another.

It is always better to lose a friend of convenience and their issues, than to lose yourself and yours.

Kaido, NO means NO, when you say NO, don’t follow up with any explanation, just say the one word. The first time you do this, you’re going to feel as though you’re leaving your pals hanging. The more you do it, the clearer the message will be, and the less awkward you will feel saying it. If they take offense, too bad … It’s not YOUR problem that they spend all their money taking their girlfriends out for a good time.

In this world, people will take what you give, and rarely do they ever return the favor. In this case it looks like the girls are the ones who end up getting the money, because the boyfriend is just the one asking on her behalf. I can see lending or giving small amounts to someone who desperately needs it, but this is not the case here, they mismanaged their earnings. Just say NO.
