If I want to sell the house and go on road I can.
Better yet, keep the house and rent it out. But not to any single mothers. They make the worst tenants. Absolutely not worth the trouble.
So sometimes, it’s better to just get on the natial parks that can be less then $10 bucks a day.
Get a seasonal job as a ranger and they pay you.
Thing is? this kind of life gets old after a while. So sometimes, it’s better to just get on the natial parks that can be less then $10 bucks a day.
Something I’ve been thinking about are ‘men only’ hostiles. Are there any of those still around? I think that that would be the ideal MGTOW retirement option. Small one room sleeping quarters with shared bathrooms and a common mess hall/dining area to make them more affordable. Like a military style barracks or a work camp but for retired single men. Who else would like to see something like that???
A young man can walk off grid quite easily. The problem comes as one gets older. Without resources it is hard to stay a nomad in a trailer for example once you get a bit too old to drive properly. Suicide at the right moment could be the answer.
But really you will only be able to walk away from everything if you have several millions, otherwise every move to stay out of the system takes a lot of thought and some compromise and it is better to stay owning something to fall back on even if you are renting it out day to day now.
I do envy the rich who can just fly to another country, do what they like and leave again, who can just fix anything that goes wrong without making compromises or putting in a lot of work themselves. When the big state starts to threaten to get a grip on your life you look at the rich and know it is not the same for them. The only thing the state asks them for is taxes and they can usually avoid paying most of that anyway. Beyond that the state can’t touch them unless they practically kill someone -A drink driving ban costs a poor man his job and his house is re-possessed. He can’t easily get insurance again. He is screwed. Drink driving ban on a rich man is annoying but he can either continue driving anyway as getting caught is not that serious, go to another country during the ban, pay a poor man to drive him. Poor man tells entitled woman at work to “f-off bitch”, poor man is fired without references and may be charged with some sexual offence. Entitled women bend over backwards to be compliant to rich man and if he tells them to f-off, they usually say sorry. Worst case is he upsets someone so badly he has to go elsewhere. Rich man is falsely accused of sexual harassment by a local women -he just moves away from the woman while paying his lawyer to make her life hell, poor man has to watch which streets he uses to go home every night and fears the police knocking.
You need resources to walk away. Get them somehow. I am soon to spend a big chunk of my resources buying half a house I co-own with a woman with whom I have split up (thankfully no marriage cert, so no great pain). If I had not scrimped and saved the resources, I would now be screwed as I have a low income and it wouldn’t cover the rent on a house, pay myself more to be able to afford rent and women will take more from my pay packet and then the state will want tax before all that, so I would need to treble what I take from my company just to stay where I am if I moved to rent a house that is smaller than this and would not hold all my stuff. As it is I can just pay the half of the house and keep living as usual, so poor in income that women can barely touch me and the government can’t even tax me. It took a lot of planning and some compromise on the income front but it also takes some resources.
A woman is like fire -fun to play with, can warm you through and cook your food, needs constant feeding, can burn you and consume all you own
I would be good with buying a mobile home located in a decent established mobile home park.
After the kids are grown, I just need enough to own a decent lil place, car, and be able to have low bills and a couple bucks in my piggy bank.
I just wish I could do that NOW.
I can’t see how it can be more affordable to actually drive or pull a mobile home around the country from one site to another. Just the gas, fees, maintenance, and repairs have to add up real fast.
I’m not interested in trying to “see the country via RV style”. If I want to travel then I will make plans and travel to the destination, but I don’t want a traveling lifestyle.
Personally, I believe in Ghosting in Plain Sight.
In a World of Justin Beibers Be a Johnny Cash
Cpt Obviuos, check out KOA. They have a discount if your a member. They can be expensive but they are always very nice. Good clean facilities, they usually have a pool. What I really like about them is they often have nice activities where you can meet and talk to other folks, like cook outs, and bluegrass bands.
Most companies aren’t looking to hire middle-aged white men. Found that out when I got laid off three years ago.
That is certainly true for White Collar, Retail, government, and Academic jobs. My Middle-Aged Pals with PhD’s in Engineering are unable to find a teaching job in Western Countries.
The only Middle-Aged White males who are able to work in those soft jobs are Flaming Gays and/ or Tyrannies.
Note: The Flaming Gays are required to have pictures plastered all over their office and in their social media of their little Gay Dog wearing various disgusting outfits.
Nevertheless, the hard, dirty, and dangerous jobs are still open to Middle-Aged White men.
But I hope to get into HVAC,
Great job to work in which I was able to live and work comfortably for decades. It is among the remnant of the “Men’s Only” jobs.
Anyway, there is a HVAC-R convention happening in Indianapolis this September. Here is a link:

As for RV living, I’d prefer to set-up somewhere permanent. Don’t they have RV camps now that will allow you to do that affordably???
Did that for years until I turned fifty and my body could no longer handle poison ivy, bee stings, bug bites……
Also, I spent most of my time doing maintenance on my camper and camp site.
Critters loved making my place their home when I was away for a few weeks.………..But it sure does not seem like “camping” so lots of parties…….
It’s fun at first… Then over time the veil lifts and those “parties” are relieved to be sad, pathetic, and annoying.
…………The real trick is to ghost in plain sight.
Also, it’s amazing what a man can accomplish when he doesn’t have to support a woman or her children. That makes ghosting in plain sight a lot easier.
Agreed.
And the MGTOW Road allows a free man to have the resources to go where you want, when you want, and only when you are inspired to go.
What happens when a man finally comprehends the cold and calculating thoughts that are going through a woman's mind, while her eyes are brimming with tears?
If you work for a long enough time for a generous company like a government entity, you have one chance to walk out whole.
With careful planning and willingness to screw over my political enemies I walked out of my job with a f~~~ you and a grin. That was age 51. I’ll never have to work or cow tow to any female for the rest of my life.I’m quite envious. I bet you’re one happy man.

Personally, I believe in Ghosting in Plain Sight.I couldn’t stand the mobile home park. Way too crowded and cramped for me. I plopped my single wide bachelor pad mansion down on the outskirts of a small rural town. If you woke up in my home not knowing where you were and stepped outside, you’d think you’re way out in the woods somewhere. I’m surrounded by trees and nature. However, I’m still too close to neighbors for my comfort, but at least I can only hear them sometimes and not see them.
Man I can’t wait to get home tonight.

I remember saying to my father that I would like to live alone on a remote island.
He said that it wouldn’t work, because ‘At some point you will see a boat coming from the mainland. In it will be some prick in a bowler hat and carrying a briefcase’.
Unless you go full on wild man and literally vanish into the wilderness, it’s not possible. It’s more a question of how best to lessen your contact with the matrix.
That’s the physical, but it should be remembered that much of the matrix is actually in your head. That much you can walk away from with no cost at all.

Yeah, like in that Tom Hanks’ movie ‘Castaway’! Excellent pic! But I didn’t like the part where he gets kidnapped by that passing freighter… 😡

Not practical or realistic, not as you get older anyway. I need to stay somewhat connected to the Matrix for my medical/dental needs and my meds. I wouldn’t want to do without in that respect. I’m a wimp… 🙁

Even this is no guarantee if you’re too “straight-acting”.
Love the ghost in plain sight angle.
I too, fancied buying a double wide trailer home in bumfvck nowhere Texas desert land. I envisioned Dirtbikes, Xbox and Doritos. The dream life! But like Sidecar said, six months later you are bored to tears.
Truth is, we feed on the presence of others, even as 4th party stander-bys, ghosts.
Like Swimcat did, If youre hitting the road with a sleeper camper, great. Spend a year and see the lands. Then go back home

like the movie Ex Machina. That rich dudes house out in some forgotten corner of Greenland…

I think anyone being reasonable would do same. Don’t want to be like Tom Hanks in Castaway yanking my teeth out.
"what a waste of a life, to marry, give up your freedom, just for the hope of not dying alone. Don't get married Son."
I havent followed this guy, but for about 10 videos. He built his own cabin off grid and lives there nearly 100 percent self reliant. Infact, that is the name of his channel, My Self Reliance. Gave me a kickin dose of humility this summer watching him sometimes.

See, I don’t see myself roughing it as I get older. But what I do see, is my life being one of modern convenience. In fact, I see myself having a large home in outskirts. Not to big, But I really want a shop style large garage type thing.
The big thing really for me is to have all the creature comforts. I WANT to install heated floors. All the works. LIke it or not, I just want to be able to fiddle around as I see fit. I don’t see myself not working. I plan to do that till my last few years till I get to sick or something.
But I mean this. Living a GOOD quality life is the ticket. So if you have a stream, you harness that stream for electricity and water. If you have sunshine, solar panels. Wind? A few turbines.
If I get cold, I don’t want to worry about stupid things like heat. Or Aircon in the house. ALSO a FIRM CONTROL OVER ANY PESTS!
Big thing is, you need to make your life as comfortable as possible. And plan for the hand rails etc that you are going to need.
I have to admit, this getting old stuff seems kind of scary. Kind of makes you think twice about your life when you are younger.
Its actually really depressing. LIke I said, I saw a guy just 20 years ago get to the point that he fell over when he walked. But the Booze kind of did him that way.
I’ve spent plenty of time in Old Folks homes. And I have to admit, I don’t want to be that Bed ridden dude. Or the guy that has to wash his own clothes when he gets older. Rather have them done for me etc.
The bright side of this is Robots really are going to make our lives easy. From the lawn to basic household stuff. Heck, its the best place to invest in if you ask me.
Being alone in the middle of nowhere is cool if you live in a place with lots of vegetation. Kind of like a Fields of gold type thing. I’m not really the solitude type. But I like to know that there are great people around me.
I’m watching my mom having trouble walking up and down the stairs. And I am wondering if I I’m going to have to install one of these before too long
I sadly won’t be able to move to far away. Simply, my mom is getting old. So that pretty much spells out what my future is like. Sucks, but you know, I got a short amount of time to build some wealth abroad since for the last few years, I will be taking care of her along with my sister. Or having to hire a person for her stuff that I just don’t want to do.
Not really looking forward to any of that. The only real comfort I have is that for the rest of my life, I am a free man. But a man that is for better or less, have the next 15 years sort of foretasted.
I hate to say this, but unless you are willing to work overtime and put away 1000 bucks a month starting in your 40’s. your 60’s are going to suck. Your 70’s are going to suck even more. Lets be honest, I think men are going to be working till they are in their 80’s with the way things are going. In fact, I don’t really think that bad about it. Trump seems to do a bang up job at his age. Even looking really good for his age.
I think the real key to all this is not where you live. But HOW good the quality of your life is.
If nothing else, go to state prison. It’s really nice there I heard if you feel like just staying put. 🙂
Now this thing about not hiring white guys. You know how many openings they have for people who will work in the jails? The MONEY is DAMN good in some states. Around 100k a year or more with the overtime you have to do.
So really, I’d look into that if you need something low key, and you just sit around surfing the web all day. It’s not a bad gig. Even if you just do it part time after your day job. Working just the weekends will give you plenty of extra income. If you can sit on your Sofa, you can work in a jail and make good money babysitting.
Everything is how much you are willing to put into it. And how smart you are.
Get a seasonal job as a ranger and they pay you.
THIS IS THE TICKET! Combine work with pleasure. And get all the Bonus points of keeping things from getting to Monotonous. Good call Sidecar!
once you get a bit too old to drive properly. Suicide at the right moment could be the answer.

Like it Mickey.
Just have to clarify one point “Being alone in the middle of nowhere is cool if you live in a place with lots of vegetation” Well this is OK if you like machine tools and have lots of energy. You will spend a lot of time whacking that vegetation unless you want to live under tree canopy -which is cold, no good for vegetable growing and can lead to leaks, storm damage and a great deal of honeydew and lichen on everything. Where nature likes vegetation, it means it wants forest and scrub is the intermediate stage. This is not too easy for modern living. You might try permaculture in equatorial regions but in our latitudes there is just not enough spare light on the forest floor to grow most of the things we like.
That said I have a long term plan to build an off grid house in my wood but it will be a cabin rather than a luxury pad. Luxury modern living just doesn’t go with natural vegetation.
