So… I did a funny thing recently. I traded in my Sportster for a Softail Heritage. My wife did not want me to get another bike. She did not want a loan or the extra expense. We discussed this several times and I even acquiesced to her way of thinking.

Then I went to a dealer for a demo ride. I rode the new Milwaukee 8 Street Glide and the Heritage Softail. I like the Heritage because it’s very comfortable. Much more power and smoother than the Sportster. The Sportster is a rough and basic motorcycle (even with all my mods) and the Softail is plush.

I brought home the Softail and she went nuts. She said things like I disrespected her, that she had no respect for me, that she would stay in the house for our daughter, that our relationship was over. She hasn’t spoken to me since I brought it home. I made things worse because I missed my Sportster so I bought it back and now I have two motorcycles.

I want to stick it out for my daughter but I just really don’t want to live this way anymore. I want peace. I want solitude. I don’t like her temper. She said some things you can’t unsay. I think I’m at a point where I would rather be alone than in a relationship. IDK what to do. Except I’m keeping the bike.

I think you were listening to your inner voice when you got the new bike Bee. You did what had to be done. You’re somewhere on your journey already whether you realise it or not. Some things can’t be unsaid, true.

MGTOW and marriage are not compatible. At all.

You are going to find out why, the hard way. While married, your only job is to stay married and avoid getting butthurt in court. but you can not have the ability to make choices the never married MGTOW men make. While married you can’t have peace and solitude, you have a woman in your life.

Decide which bike you will sacrifice on the alter of divorce…I’d give up the old one. new bike new adventures, and room for a new honey…if ya think that is a good idea.

Sell the sportster, and use the money to lawyer up. When the woman has already said the relationship is over, she’s going to start planning the same. At this point, any sticking around you do, is just ammunition for her lawyer. “Sticking around for the kid” is just building her case for divorce court so she can rake you over the coals. If she’s said it’s over, tell her quite sternly, to pack her bags and gtfo!
