I wear oversized headphones to protect my ears, while I also listen to music to cancel out the noise in a supermarket, and I guess they’re a great sign of telling people to not talk to me. Whenever I pass someone while walking outside, I just give a nod, because I know I can’t hear my own voice when there’s blackmetal blasting into my ears, so I wouldn’t know if I were whispering or shouting “HELLO!”. Mostly I just stare at the horizon and pass people, but I do tend to give men the nod.

I never wear headphones as they are detrimental your ears. At age 50 I still hear up to 17,5 KHz and the slightest sound behind me and from far away.

Ears are my most important warning device, even better than the eyes as they are non-directional.

With all of the craziness around you, trucks being driven into crowds of people, car drivers going mad, cargo falling off passing vehicles, people throwing things out of windows, gunmen going mad or just scumbags threatening random people…

… your ears are your early warning and give you the head start on an avoidance or escape.

In a store with headphones? Not hearing when a robbery occurs and not knowing “instantly” the need to lie down or run for cover will make you the first easy target of the gunman or the hostage taker.

Not hearing when a shelf collapses or a forklift loses it’s cargo… …right above me or next to me – that scares me.

I was always the one without the “Walkman” who heard it first and jumped to the side.

My ears are still so accurate that I can tell the angle and the distance of an oncoming threat and tell if it needs attention.

Hiking in the forest, I want to hear a breaking branch or falling tree before it hits me and I want to hear an approaching wild animal before it bites me.

And sometimes trails are used as illegal off-road race tracks and without ears you become an easy victim. Stupid drivers drive faster than they can see and brake. You have to jump or die.

And avoiding women becomes easier without headphones as you can hear them approaching and turn your head just not to notice them. Or look at your watch… Or by slowly moving on with your shopping cart.

I was chased by the public for years and that early acoustic warning was my last defense. People intrude into your life like lightning and if you can’t hear them coming, they suddenly “pop up” behind you and shock and scare the hell out of you. And then they get you “on your wrong foot” and you make mistakes by overreacting. If you hear them coming in time, you just have a few seconds of time more to prepare your “supreme” reaction.

Woman actually behave when they see you as an observer. It intimidates the hell out of them.

Using your full senses will make you the supreme MGTOW man women never mess with.

I’ve noticed similar things. My key study has been the grocery store. Women seem wired to want guys to notice them, at any age, and regardless of marital status. If I’m completely ignoring any woman in my age range +/-10 years, they become unsettled while in the same aisle. I’ve seen some of them try to visually flirt, then I start faking that I’m texting while smiling, they get annoyed knowing I might be ignoring them for a GF. Women are incredibly desperate for 24/7 validation.
