I had an interesting interaction when I was on the return leg of a recent road trip. Stopped in a fast food place just off the interstate. Did my usual get my food, put my earbuds in to listen to Pandora, and surf the internet on my phone. In walks two post-wall women. One woman looks at me and I could tell she wanted to start a conversation, but notices my earbuds and she thinks better of it. I finish my food and she follows me outside, and I act like I don’t notice. I get in my car and drive away. Now she could have wanted to beg for money but the way she was dressed I’d say no. Body language told me she wanted to flirt.
I’ve seen it before when having earbuds in annoys women, shows them you have absolutely no interest in interaction.
