    Screw em. They don’t give you notice when they lay you off.

    Can attest to this. Was hit late last year as the first in a round of layoffs. Best thing that ever happened to me. Company is still going down the tubes but it isn’t my problem anymore.

    Back on topic though. That could be their way of saying “we like you as an employee but don’t value you enough to pay you more.” Sounds like woman logic to me, or is it HR shenanigans. They follow the same thought pattern so close it’s hard to tell them apart.

    Hope that someday I may lead others the path I have learned. As Virgil led Dante through Hell.
