I’m sorry for your loss, IRuleMe. Dogs are loyal, protective, and give un-conditional love; much better than people. I’m getting to prefer dogs over people nowadays.

I want to thank you for all of your advice on my thread aswell; you’re a very knowledgeable guy.

I figured I may as well share pics since a few asked.

Truly heartbreaking. You’re stronger than me. I’d be a mess for a while. ( Can I borrow your shoulder instead? )

That last pic kind of got to me and it’s not even my dog. To me they’re more like family than just a friend. What breed was Wally?

You can trust a Man who loves a Dog.

You could see how much he loved you.

One of my dogs was accidentally run over by my dad a couple of months ago. He was the only surviving pup of the first litter my female had, so this came as a brutal shock to me. I more or less can imagine how it went for you, but regardless, I still had a rough couple of days before I started to feel better again. He was also the only male left, which made me feel for some strange reason ever worse. Luckily I got two more pups as a gift by a kindly elder gentleman, so this has helped out somewhat. My suggestion is to get another dog, it can help you get the style again.

No more hassles, no more nonsense, no more drama. Long live MGTOW!

Yellow lab and rottweiler mix. Friendliest dog you’d ever meet.

Dogs are as awesome companions as they are to remind us that life is short. It can be painful to us, but Wally loved and lived with everything he had.

You can learn a lot of things from a “dumb animal”.

My condolences on your loss, but he wouldn’t regret a moment.

I failed to realize in my youth that I was the prize. I was going to work. I was going to earn. Little did I realize that due to feminism, that no longer meant I had to share. Road soon, Desert after.

It is a rough day, but you will make it. Stay strong, remember the hot he brought you and keep on.

His passing has definitely gotten easier. In a way, I suppose it worked out considering the class 5 hurricane barreling down on Florida. Had he still been alive, it would have been one more thing to worry about. Trying to round him up, travel with him, calm him down, etc…

Your dog’s boundless love and devotion earned the peace only you could give him, brother.

In the end, you didn’t think of what was best for you. You only thought of what was best for him. You did right by him when it mattered. Always remember that.

I’m so sorry man. 16 is such an awesome age! May the pup rest in peace. Sounds like he had a very loved life. But that’s the problem with giving your heart to an animal, they don’t live long enough.
