I use “ixquick” and “duckduckgo” for the real things.

Ixquick – now: Startpage.com really worked for me. This + a VPN + Firefox in “private mode” and the government will have a hard time seeing and tracing what you looked for.

And I use Google only for the s~~~ everyone can see.

And to “give the dog a bone” once the government inquires about my searches. They can only tell tech stuff and CD’s I was looking for.
