Sorry man, always hard to lose a pet. But twenty years is a great run for a cat.

When I was 19 years old, I buried my favorite cat in my backyard. I felt very upset for a long time. It may be just another stray cat to everyone else—but I raised this beautiful creature. He was an abandoned kitten. I did whatever I could. I took him to the vet and he told me the cat ate poisoned food. I took care of this cat during his final days. I brushed his fur until he faded away.

Take care of your pets, they love you, even if they have no idea what love is. (So do I)

I agree. My pet cats didn’t know what human love meant, but they sure treated me better than the women I’ve dated.

I saw that I could put an end to your outrages by pronouncing a single word in my mind. I pronounced it. The word was ‘No.’" (Atlas Shrugged)

I gave cats little thought up until I lived with a couple of cool ones. Now I get it.

A few years ago, one of my best friends lost his beloved cat of twenty years. He’s still rather heartbroken over the loss.

So every spring, on our first mountain bike ride of the season, we dedicate the ride in memory of his cat. The Teeter Cat Memorial Ride. That’s what we call it.

Embrace the grief, brother. This too shall pass.

The house feels quiet once a pet passes on.

Can a pet be considered as a person ?
Everybody said no. But I raised my hand and asked to the teacher : “Well, if pets are not people, why are we so sad when they have to go ?”

The silence who followed my question was quite significant. Lol

Pets may not be people, but they are still family.

    Thoughts are with you brother.

I’ve had to put down a few dogs in my day. The memories of doing that still bother me and it never gets easier. The last dog should have been put down sooner. I let it go too long and now that bothers me too. I won’t let it go that long again.

But the best way to deal with it is to get another animal ASAP. There are tons of abandoned pets in shelters waiting to be adopted. Getting another pet soonest I find is the best way to deal with your loss…

Be strong, remember the good times with your pet as other brothers said.
