Today, my cat, an awesome beast born in 1997 past away. She had a stroke. The poor beast was completely disorientated. In total pain. Her cries were unbearable to hear. The last time I fell so much pain in my soul was when my mom past away.
I’ll tell that story another day.
I know it is not comparable. But I’m 22. This cat was like a member of my family.
We took her to the vet, and it was it.

We will burry my cat tomorrow in my garden.

Have a nice day Mgtows. Take care of your pets, they love you, even if they have no idea what love is. (So do I)

I’m so sorry Javelin. What a drag. That’s awful that she couldn’t even go peacefully. At least she’s not in pain anymore, but I know that those kind of sentiments don’t really help much.

Too right. I had an awesome old cat who I received when I was ten, so I grew up with him. He passed away about four years ago and I still miss him a lot.

    Know how you feel dude.

Don’t feel bad about it. You gave her the best possible life she could of had and there’s always other pets for companions like dogs although they do require a bit more attention than cats but they’re extremely amusing and fun.

I feel you. It’s very painful. I lost a cat several years ago as I had to put her to sleep. It was very difficult to see her in pain as she deteriorated to a skeleton due to kidney failure.

People think cats are not as cool as dogs, but not me. They can be great companions.

I now have an awesome male that I adopted with he was young. He’s got the personality of a dog. He is so loyal and has a very vocal, outlandish personality. He’s my little guy and I cherish him.

    God bless peace and freedom.

I’m there for you Javelin. Years ago my cat was hit by a car and not killed instantly. He managed to crawl back home. He was busted up and in terrible pain. It was a Friday night so I had the choice of letting him live on in pain until Monday to take him to the vet to be put to sleep OR put him down myself. I figured he wouldn’t last to Monday and he was suffering so I did it.

I’ve done many hard and sometimes questionable things in my life but nothing was harder than that. So I know how you feel. IT took me weeks to get to where I could even talk about it. So hang in there brother.

Some cats are amazing. The siamese breed for example are unique in that they have the characteristics of dogs with a pact mentality.

Man, that must have been painful. I don’t want to even picture it in my head.

    God bless peace and freedom.

I remember a moment when I was in school.
Can a pet be considered as a person ?
Everybody said no. But I raised my hand and asked to the teacher : “Well, if pets are not people, why are we so sad when they have to go ?”

The silence who followed my question was quite significant. Lol

PistolPete, the thought came to my mind. But after a call to the vet, he agreed to wait me before leaving his work.
I cryed like a baby when my cat was “asleep”.
He let me take her back to give her a decent last bed. Instead of burning her to ashes.

I’ll never thank him enough for this kind act.

definitely. Mine is also a special breed. He’s got the spots and everything. F~~~er is athletic as they come. Loves to run and chase squirrels up the trees. He’s also been a huge pain in my ass sometimes.

    God bless peace and freedom.

Sphynxes are also like that. They’re considered ugly because they have no hair, but make good pets because, by nature, they’re very mellow and sweet. They enjoy human company and love to be stroked and held.

Me too. I was unable to ever–EVER pick up an fire that particular gun again. I ended up just getting rid of it. I too gave Max a nice place to sleep with all his favorite toys. And I planted a magnolia tree over him and do you know it took TEN years before that tree ever bloomed?

I wept and grieved for a very long time but in the end I understood that as a man I can and will do whatever is necessary no matter how hard. That my friend is where we have bitches beat hands down. However tough the task we just do it.

Sorry for your loss Javelin. I miss my cats. It’s tough, and it hurts that’s for sure.

20 years is an extremely long life for a cat. Without question you sure as hell took care of it.

PistolPete, mercy killing a dear companion, that’s got to be one of the toughest things to actually have to do in this life. I’ve never had to do it myself. I’m positive it was the right thing to do no matter how hard it may have been.

So sorry Javelin, our pets are the one true love we get in this world. And I agree with you, we lose a family member when they pass.
